A horrible moving experience

Top ten van lines This was a horrible experience with top 10 van lines from Miramar,Florida. We hired them to move 30 boxes and one glass chair from New Jersey to Florida. They kept my boxes in a warehouse until I paid them an extra $400.00 in cash if I wanted the boxes delivered once it arrived in the state. We only had one piece of furniture delivered- a glass chair. Although it was well wrapped the employee of the moving company put a sign on the chair " be very careful. This chair is going to trump tower and they are personal friends of trump." Consequently someone took a hard object and ramped the chair. This chair was a piece of art. I asked the mover in New Jersey if there is insurance and he said replacement value. We can not even get the owner to give us the name of his insurance company nor did he offer any compensation. The owner won't even return our calls. They are not reliable nor a responsible moving company. I would not use them and I am planning to take them to small claims court.

This company will lie to you. They are not a carrier, they're a broker. On the day of my move, a different company showed up. What was I supposed to do? I have to move out and start my new job. DO NOT trust Christina at Top Ten Van lines. I thought she was a trustworthy person. She is NOT a trustworthy person.

The best move I've ever had!

Let me start off by saying that as bad as moving normally is, I actually had a fun and exciting day when Phil and his crew showed up to move me. They did not stop from the word go and did such an awesome job in such a short period of time, I could hardly believe it. They had a keen eye for detail and the safety of all of my items as I did not find anything damaged from the move. These guys were the best and I will definitely be using them again. Give them a call if you want to save money and stress on your next move.

Move from MN to AZ

Very good service from start to finish. They arrived as they've promised and they were all neat and friendly. Although they did not help me dismounting my TVs but they did the excellent job in packing my breakables. At the destination we had no issues whatsoever. I recommend using this company.

Very pleasant move!

So these guys came a little late, but called to inform me, which I appreciated. They disassembled my bed, which was my prized possession so perfectly and put shrink wrap around it, which I paid extra for as opposed to blankets and pads which were free. They did a great job overall. Delivery came in 7 days, they called again one day prior. All my items came in good condition. Yes, would use them again when I move back to Miami!

Please do not do business with this ...

Bad Company. Not worth of doing business with. I was informed that stuff will reach destination within 7-9 business days from day of the pick up. Almost 3 weeks passed, no update from dispatcher. Very difficult situation for my entire family. When I called central dispatch office for the first time they said dispatcher is on vacation will be out for week. After waiting for one week when I again called they said no update from dispatcher. Couple times they said they will check with driver and call you back before end of the day. I never got a call back. Then I called original booking phone line, person was so rude and said if you have to wait for one month then wait for one month, if its 2 months then wait for two months and directly transferred phone to central dispatch office. He was so rude and unapologetic. This is the worst experience. Please please do not do business with this company.

Horrible Moving company!

Horrible Company. No one should do business with this moving company. I had a contract with the move dates for 7/10-7/11, but no one called from dispatch the day before as I was promised. So, the whole weekend was a stressful situation for my entire family, as this was a interstate move and we had to close the house and hand over the keys to the buyer. In addition to botching up the moving with a reason that there were no local drivers available (even when I booked this move 2 months in advance), when I called on Monday to find out, the customer service manager was really rude, almost racist and talked in such an unapologetic tone with me, and hung up on me while I was still speaking. This is the most horrible experience I ever had w/ any business in US. They do not deserve any customers!!

Poor customer service

Initially very nice giving me a quote. I even gave them detailed measurements on everything. Received a quote and set up a date. When they came out they change the price from $6000 to $9000 Stating that there was more than expected. Even if I did not measure everything that is an absurd change. Then they said it was my fault and that they would not refund the entire deposit.

Do Not Ever Use Top To Van Lines!!!!

If you want to have your valuable furniture broken, torn, ripped, scatched, bent, dented, and destroyed then choose Top 10 Van Lines for your moving service. This was my first time using a so called professional moving company thinking it would be great but it turned out to be a Nightmare!! I was in tears looking at all my valuables broken, and destroyed from the move. They said we will pack and take care of your items but they destroyed our stuff apparently moving it from truck to truck to storage back to truck. We are missing an entire mattress we just discovered from our guest room. I am so disgusted with this company. The movers in NC started out cool but then got lazy and tired because they didn't find help on Craigslist to move. I was under the impression that these movers worked for Top 10 van lines and were professional but discovered they find anyone off of Craigslist to help move our items on to and off the truck. I couldn't believe it! I am glad I got insurance and I want my items taken care of and reimbursed for the mental anguish I went through working with this company. Never again!!! Never again! Top 10 Van lines, make this right! Unacceptable in every way!!! One of the movers in Houston did a good job and was empathetic to my broken and damaged furniture. One mover quit while moving my furniture and the driver did a good job but didn't speak English as well. I did take pictures and wish that I could post all the damage as well. Chenelle S.

Worst Moving Experience of My Life

Truly a horrible experience. Melissa, the customer service manager, was a nightmare to have to work with. Nothing was transparent from the beginning. I was told one thing from a sales rep about how the process would be and the experience was completely different. I wouldn't recommend these movers to anyone. Mainly just the people who work at the company, not the movers themselves. They broke some of my items

Positive moving from A to Z

This was my second move in New York City and I am here just 10 months. First time it was awful experience so this time I was expecting the same, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that movers came 10 minutes earlier than expected. Movers was not so polite, but they did the work very professional. I am glad that things did not went bad like first time with Top 10 Van Lines.

extremely professional and efficient throughout the entire move including assembling the ikea furniture ! They accommodated ad-hoc requests and came completely prepared for the move ! Furthermore they went above and beyond to complete the move in the 3 hour minimum ! Would definitely recommend them

The movers did a nice job for us. They wrapped the furniture pieces well using blankets, bubble wrap and shrink wrap. They knew what they were doing and were very courteous. They had all the necessary equipment and strength to move some very big and heavy furniture out of a 1 story house and into the second story at the destination house. Thank you!

Great customer service

Great customer service when calling them on the phone, emailing or filling out forms on their website. The movers were also excellent. They moved everything with care and as quickly as possible. Their quality control worker even stopped by to ask if everything was going well. I recommend them.
