Worst moving company on the planet

We had the most horrendous experience with this moving company both from the packing end through to the delivery at our new home. All the moving staff are unprofessional and completely untrained. Could not have cared less about our property. They were only concerned about getting the truck loaded in NY and they would not move until we have paid 50% of the final bill. Had the same experience at the drop off where they would not unload until we had also paid. And both payments had to be in cash!!! Getting to speak with the owner was impossible before the move and then during the move we could only communicate with him if one of the movers called him for us. The entire experience was a nightmare and we would warn anyone away from using them. We unfortunately got stuck with them via a moving broker, Empire Moving Group, who were equally unpleasant to work with and never acted as our advocate with the actual movers. They claimed they used only the best moving companies to farm out their work. That is an absolute lie. They work with anyone with a truck and movers. We strongly urge all to never use United Pro or Empire Moving Group. Read more

DON'T trust these guys.

I had an estimate for moving my furnishing to Texas. When they were fiilling up their truck, the driver told my wife we would bw way over weight. The driver then took advantage of my wife's lack of knowledge and charged $6700. I had an initial estmate of $4468. When I refused to pay the extra they charged another $800 because they had to come back the next day. I discussed this with the moving service and they were unaware of this issue. When the movers came back, the driver was told that if i didnt pay him $2500 in cash he was to leave. And they drove off with my furnishings One week later I received a call and was threatened that they were going to put my furnishings up for auction. I was informed by my moving service that I was 200 pounds over weight at this time. The dipatcher for this company went as far as stating (Several Times) that he was from the moving service. Read more
