Friendly and easy to work with.

They were very friendly and easy to work with, but my only dissatisfaction is that a few of my items were damaged during the move. Read more

WARNING do not use. THEFT by ...

WARNING do not use. THEFT by contractors. No office just a PO box, They do not own their own trucks. They hire outside contractors to drive. First, when your crew came to load us onto the moving truck, they ended up putting items on their truck that were against a wall in our home that I showed the head guy that these were all items NOT to put on the rented truck, that we were taking them ourselves - because these were valuable and precious to us. These consisted of: boxes of liquor, including an extremely expensive box of Louis XIII cognac. Also it's strange that 2 large boxes of valuable electronics never made it. 3/4 of the way through your crew's loading our items, we realized our 3 boxes of expensive liquor, which we indicated WE would take with us, in our car, were gone - supposedly "already on the truck" and too small and too late to find them to take off truck. We even said you are not able by law to take liquor on the truck. They just winked and shrugged. The head guy said too that they had already put them the truck already and couldn't be taken off, it was too difficult. At that point we had no choice but to trust your crew that they would arrive to us safely. Which they didn't. Those liquor boxes never made it to our new home. Bear in mind, to repeat, we designated those liquor boxes to NOT go on the rented moving truck - but your employees said they put them on there. And now they are nowhere to be found. They were not even listed on the pickup order. When we demanded an answer they just said just sign, we have to go, this is my FIRST time we are both working for Valet and have never filled in the agreements before. When we acquired counsel, they stated that the filled in agreements were illegible . Secondly, at the end of loading up their truck, the head moving guy said we had something like 45 EXTRA boxes more than what my wife and I hadn't accounted for! We were astounded and confused, plus the writing on his paperwork listing all items was pretty much illegible so one couldn't coordinate what he with what he was telling us about all of these "extra boxes". At that point, the head Valet mover guy admitted he was "new" and had just started and wasn't sure how "this all works". Unbelievable. Even the different unloading/mover guys (contractors, not employees) that actually delivered the items to us, and unloaded them, couldn't make any sense of the packing list that Valet Movers' guy wrote. They also literally said it was the worst inventory move list they had EVER seen as it was mostly illegible. We called Valet as soon as we began a thorough unpacking, noting what was missing and have been calling Valet weekly EVER since, only to be told "we are still looking" and when they find them they would call. A employee Ria, stated that if we wanted to come to San Diego to check the warehouse ourselves, she would schedule it. I went only to find a PO Box. I even left messages Joe, (owner) Read more

The crew was inexperience and didn't ...

Well, they sent a very inexperienced crew. I had them do all the packing and prep and they didn't mark the boxes ... It was horrible for me after I got the boxes ... Because the boxes had absolutely no identification on them as to which room they went in, so it just made my moving in experience that much worse. And then the guy asked about halfway through, could he take the truck ... Halfway full of my furniture and my belongings to someplace to give another guy a palette. ...This is the owner now. ...The neighbors were all concerned for me because these guys had absolutely no idea what they were doing. All of them were amateurs. ...They didn't appear to be the most upstanding of individuals. Now, at the end of the day I will say my faith in humanity was restored because I do in fact have everything that I'm supposed to have, but the experience with that moving company was horrible. Items were late and driver didn't even ...

There were so many things that happened here. First of all I was told that Phoenix is close and you will have your stuff in three days. It started when she was making the order and the price was quoted and then the movers came and it was like, "oh, now you will be charged for this" and "you will be charged for that now." And then the movers did not even come after more than a week. It took 10 days after I was calling them and I didn't have all my things at home. And when they did show up the driver said he didn't have help even though I was on the second floor. He said, "If I can find help I will deliver it tonight otherwise I'll have to deliver it in the morning." And after all that a few of the things were missing. Read more

It went very well

The people in the office are very professional and courteous. The movers that came to place were very professional. They packed everything up and put it away in a timely manner. It went really well. [The pricing] was the lowest--I did three or four companies and it was the lowest out of those. They wrapped all my glass tabletops and the furniture, mattresses, and any other items that could easily get scratched they wrapped in blankets. Read more

Well worth every penny, Valet Movers ...

Do to a seperation I needed to move back home to West Palm Beach Flordia from San Diego and to say the least Valet Movers helped me out greatly. I need to move my items out the next day and the office staff let me know that they had an opening for 3-5pm and they would be able to make it. I put my deposit down and they showed up around 4pm thefollowing day. I still had loose ends around the house that needed to be packed up and the guys helped me pack these items. I was charged an additional $150 in packing materials which was fine. I left the heavy lifting up to them such as the couch, washer and dryer, and bed. They were quick, but they were not rushing me around which i appriciated. The customer serive in the office was geat they explained the process and how long distance moves were based on volume. I had a few extra items that increased my price. My items took aobut 10 days to ship, which was hard to wait for becuase I flew out 7 days prior. Everything arrived in good condision and all in all the experence went well. Thanks for your help! Read more
