I didn’t necessarily have a HUGE move, but I had some really difficult items to move out like a 300 lbs safe and a baby grand piano. Great california movers

I chose Viper for my move to Chicago and I had a great experience with them. My agent was Melisa who was fantastic! She has an up-beat attitude, very helpful and informative, efficient, everything! The guys who showed up to my house are a real asset to the company, you can tell they have been there long as well. Honestly I’m really surprised at how well they got the job done as the price was pretty much average.. I had different companies offer me the same service for so much more money. If anyone is still in the hassle of choosing the right mover, I would really suggest giving viper moving a call! Read more

Total Disaster

Gave Viper an inventory list and estimated cubic foot volume for a move of a 5 bedroom 3 bath house that was done by another large moving company. Also, I packed everything in the house with the exception of a 55 inch flat screen TV but had a box for it to be packed in. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Viper considers every piece of furniture they "wrap" as packing and every supply they need to "wrap" your furniture they charge you for, so first piece of advise with dealing with Viper is to have them spell out what they charge for every supply item they will use to "pack" your furniture. Then Viper elected not to bring out a semi truck to pack my household goods in but a large moving truck that if packed perfectly would NOT have held my goods. So they had to call another truck that happened to be in the area and tried to place the balance of my household goods in it in which it still did not fit. Then they opened the tail loading gate and fit all my mattresses on it and strapped it to the backside of the truck. In fact, I ended up leaving a leather recliner and a 10ft and a 8 ft ladders in the garage because they had NO room in the trucks. It was an unmitigated disaster. Viper is NOT a long distance moving company, they contract out the move out of the state of California. In fact, they own maybe 2 large semi trucks, they lease the rest. Bottom line, they may have been nice people but I would NOT have them move my dog house. They may be great for one bedroom apartments in the state of CA but I would not have them touch my stuff if you live in any large size home. They are not equipped to handle such a move. Last piece of advise, don't sign any contract upon their arrival until the final things are loaded on the truck. Also, consider going with a weight of the goods versus the cubic foot volume of the goods. Read more

I moved to Colorado earlier in the year and I have to say that their customer service skills are exceptional! I had to make so many changes with my move and they were so flexible and patient. I must of called more than 20 times to update my inventory list or moving date and they were always so helpful and patient. If you are looking for a reliable mover go with Viper! Read more

Viper really helped me out with this whole process. I called with a few months ahead of time to get organized and I had constant communication with Alan throughout the weeks. I like that even with the amount of customer they have, alan always remembered me and my move and was always ready to help out.
