Avoid Virgin Moving at all cost

The owner is a scammer. He accepts jobs from moving brokers and then ups the price (weight, size) when they get to your home. This is when you really have no choice because you need your stuff moved. He then pays day workers who have no clue how to pack. He then delivers when he wants to. He only takes venmo or Zell. This is to avoid any recourse on payment. He holds you over a barrel because he has your stuff. On day of delivery, per the contract, final payment should be postal money order. He stopped the truck because he wanted cash so the driver could buy gas. I told him no and he threatened again to not deliver. Then he did not hire anyone but the driver to unpack the truck. We ended up doing it ourselves. Many of the items were broken, scratched and dirty. He will not allow a claim because we didn't buy insurance. When the goods were loaded that Option was not allowed on his paperwork. Oh, and did I mention when the delivery driver called to ask where his help was he was told to lock the truck and walk away?!?! He then texted me and told me to use my car to block the truck so the driver couldn't take it! Seriously, avoid this company at all costs!!!

Marine Corps family. THE MOST ...

We moved my 85 year old mother who was struggling with the beginnings of dementia from California to our home in Texas. When the movers arrived and packed everything up they threatened to unload everything back off if they were not given an extra $1,000. dollars. Just the day prior I paid an additional $1,000. with my credit card. David was telling his movers " just put the shit back". Knowing how confusing and upsetting this would have been for my mother I paid the "ransom". On the 21st of August my Mother's lifetime belongings drove off. Weeks past as my Mother became more disoriented in her new surroundings. I begged and pleaded with David that having somethings familiar around her was so important. Most times I was pleading to his voicemail. Finally her things arrived on October 3rd. with just the driver. My Husband had to do 50% of the off loading and moving of the boxes and furniture. David was supposed to give us a partial refund of $500.00 but the driver would not except the cashiers check for the lesser amount. Once again paying an additional $800.00.

SCAMMING POS

DAVID never answers the phone, full mailbox, has lied multiple times about delivery date and "finding a driver". He's somehow listed on the federal moving approval (which tells me they have zero requirements). It's been 60 days, they don't know where my stuff is. I've filed 2 police reports and have the police coming to whenever the hell they decide to deliver if at all. I found his dumbass on facebook so it's up to him if he wants to deliver my stuff for get his little ass kicked.

Virgin Moving and Storage is worst ...

We were moving from Minnesota to Texas. Our order move date was on 08/08/20. We had already verbally agreed upon a price quote for full service after video walkthrough with Quality Express Van Lines. After signing contract with them they referred us to their carrier Virgin Moving and Storage (sister moving company). However, on the day of pickup, Virgin Moving and Storage said they had to change price saying we have fancy items like TV console with fireplace, Grill, and Sofa. We already showed those items to them before confirming the price with them. We had no choice but to agree with their pricing sine we were near to our closing and moving date. While they moved our stuff into the truck, on the day itself they damaged our vinyl floor and broke patio table. They were loading items without putting protective material on the floor which was against our agreement. Now on the delivery date while going through inventory list our stuffs were missing. They missed our master bed, furniture’s and damaged TV console, Grill, and Couch. TV console fireplace is not working, they broke the leg of the Grill and now Grill won’t light, and they ripped our sofa. They charged extra for handling those items saying fancy items and now all those items are damaged or won’t work. Today is 11/23/20, and we still don’t have our missing items. We are tired of contacting them and every time we call Quality Express Van Lines they say let me talk to carrier and then get back to you. We don’t hear anything from them and their carrier /sister company(Virgin Moving and Storage).The truth about this moving company is – THIS IS WORST COMPANY TO CHOOSE do not trust them. We don’t recommend them. As per our contract with Quality Express Van Lines says BY FEDERAL LAW, THIS FORM MUST CONTAIN A FILLED-IN ESTIMATE OF THE COST OF A MOVE FOR WHICH THE MOVING COMPANY IS LIABLE FOR THE FULL (REPLACEMENT) VALUE OF YOUR GOODS but we have not received anything yet. We highly recommend that you consider another good company Virgin Moving and Storage is worst nightmare!

Terrible company, can’t trust them

My experience with “Virgin Movers” and “David,” the owner or manager has been terrible. Throughout he has been rude, insulting, and threatening - holding my property against an ever increasing supposedly final balance. I have already given $1700 against an initial estimate of $1777.09 to move my stuff from a 5x8 storage unit which was less than half full (I also before this paid $537 to USPro, a broker). I still do not have my shipment; I don’t know where my things are, and, for all I know he has just dumped my stuff somewhere although I expect he still has it because he wants more money from - adding up now, as best I can calculate, to $3500. Bottom line - “David” and “Virgin” should be barred from the moving business. Of course I am alerting the Better Business Bureau, state consumer agencies, and may go to small claims court. In the meantime, if you need a mover, don’t hire “David” and his criminal outfit.

The worst nightmare! Delivered my possessions unannounced

Nightmare

David Kohanim moved me from mainland to Hawaii. Multiple things broken and missing. He has inadequate insurance which doesn't cover over water moves. David Kohanim operates under multiple mover names (A City Mover,Hawaiian Island movers,Virgin moving and Storage,and prob many others) and different DOT numbers. He claims he moved me under (dot 2526974) hiding under name Success trucking but known to public as Virgin Moving and Storage. I hired him and he was known to me as Hawaiian Island Movers. After 2 and a half months of waiting for my belongings,a subcontracted mover showed up at my door with only part of my belongings and took the remaining balance for my move. Only then did he disclose that the rest of my goods would be arriving via DHX,a shipping company,in 2 days. I filed a police report and only had 1,000 cash returned so now this guy had 11,600 of my money and I had missing furniture and goods and a scratched up filthy motorcycle that was supposed to be crated and wasn't. Later on that week,I went with a friends truck and was able to get the shipping company to release the giant pallet with my items after a long wait and signing some bogus letter that would release David from liability. After unloading the truck I realized more stuff damaged and items missing. I tried to file a claim but the insurance company says that they do not cover over water moves so now I can't even file a claim because he has inadequate insurance which seems illegal to me if he is moving people to Hawaii. This whole move has been a nightmare and a shakedown from beginning to end. He has complete disregard for me or my belongings. He only wants to see how he can make the most money of you while getting your goods to you the cheapest possible way. Even if it means long wait times,losing or breaking your stuff. Run away from this guy and save your sanity.
