Be aware

Please be aware that this company practices unscrupulous business practices. We had difficulty scheduling a delivery and were notified 24 hours in advance. Instead we got a call the morning of delivery and we had to scramble to get our building to be able to accept the delivery. Additionally, we were shaken down by the delivery team, which are just subcontractors, for $450 more dollars. We tried to get this back, but the company would not return the proceeds. We filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau of NJ. (Be aware that this company is not accredited, btw.) The issue remains unresolved and we have filed with the NJ division of consumer affairs, as well. We also have placed holds and stops on our original payment. Be very aware of this.

At first pickup date was delayed 1 day, then they sent too small of a truck had to come back next day for the rest of our belonging. was originally told it would be 3 day to get to SC. ok 3 days has turned into 10+ days . we had to go buy necessary items for the house. we are sleeping on air mattresses we had to buy. because we have no bed. i now have to go buy work clothes for a new job i start. i have these clothes but they are on the truck . one reason they told was a day delay was due to a flat tire on the truck LOL i know better as to how long it takes to change a tire even on a tractor trailer . they have come up with every excuse possible not to deliver our belongings on time.

SAY AWAY, HUGE SCAMMERS, WORST ...

Stay away from these people!! They are huge SCAMMERS. All positive reviews must be FAKE. My movingreviews.com red flagged them too for writing FAKE reviews as you can see on their page. I left a bad review on Google and its very easy to see all of their good reviews are FAKE and probably written by employees as nothing that was told to me about my move was true. The owner and sales rep #1 sales pitch to me was claiming they have multiple trucks and many miles on record with the DOT. This deceptive sales tactic sold me away from the competition but I was picked up in a rental truck and delivered by another company!!! Many other reviews (Consumer Affairs and BBB) talk about them using other truck companies to pick up and deliver too. If they own 19 trucks and have millions of miles with the DOT as they pitched me, then where were their own trucks and crew members? They are a broker and I do not know how they get away with this? I should have read the bad reviews before finalizing my decision. The owner and sales rep pitch was too good to be true but I was suckered in. The "owner" will tell you a price and make it sound like everything in your home will fit in the price range they gave you. I was quoted 2k for my move. 400 cubic square feet. Was told that 60 boxes fit, plus my queen size mattress and my dressers. This is the smallest space ever. I am now having to pay double for my move. The company "owner" will make it sound like they do not scam people and will make you feel comfortable with choosing them. I’m literally fuming with anger and rage right now. Additionally, I was told that they disassemble all furniture. More Lies. They only disassemble the bed. My dresser, which is on the second floor does not fit down the stairs without haven’t to be taken apart. Had I known this, I would have taken it apart ahead of time. Yet, I was led to believe that they would do it all. Now the movers are telling me unless I take this apart by the time they are done with the rest of my boxes, that they will be unable to take my dresser. I AM A DISABLED VET that chose this moving company to my inability to move myself. I live in a small apartment and it’s crazy to me that I am having to somehow pay close to 4K for my move when I was told 2k. I would have done the move myself if I knew this was going to happen. I WILL BE PURSUING THIS COMPLAINT FURTHER THAN A REVIEW. I WILL CONTACT THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, BBB, EVERYWHERE I HAVE TO SO XTREME MOVERS DOES NOT SCAM ANYMORE PEOPLE AND VETERANS. Take it from personal experience, stay away from these people. They are a complete nightmare after they take your deposit.

Comfortable move

Great deal for a great price with Xtreme movers. They were fast, efficient and careful with my belongings. They brought shrink wrap, tape, wardrobe boxes and everything needed for packing and moving. I was charged the price I was told, no hidden fees. And their manager was quite a mature dealer to handle everything. They even came an hour early. One thing that impressed me the most was that after all the tension and stress they were unbelievably friendly. I appreciated that they didn't waste time chatting. Anybody would want a move like this.

I would like to thank Xtreme movers because of their transportation service. On delivery, again very nice and helpful crew, all goods were delivered on time, furniture reassembled. I had an amazing experience with them while moving. The team was prompt, on time, great attitudes and strong. It was one of the best relocation I have ever had with the service and for the amount of time they invested. I am extremely satisfied with the service I had received.

Effective movers

My girlfriend and I had a great time with Xtreme movers! The moving crew showed up right on time and got to work quickly. The two guys wrapped up all of the furniture to prevent any damage and carefully placed all of it into their van. They barely took a break and worked extremely hard. At the end, I received a clean and easy move without any damages. I would highly recommend Xtreme movers.

I cannot thank them enough

The packers wrapped the furniture and moved it carefully. The movers looked clean and behaved very professionally. They asked me where to put the respective pieces of furniture and in the end also asked me to have a look around to see if everything was perfect or not. They did not damage any walls or furniture during the moves. They were also able to accommodate my additional move request for an extra charge. This request was not part of my original request but they agreed to move it for me. Everything was so smooth and I have only words of praises for this company. Strongly recommend these movers.

They are such a great moving company

Xtreme movers is such a great moving company. They brought all kinds of moving materials including boxes, packing paper, tape, etc. The guys were incredibly polite, accommodating and just good people. I'm so happy we gave our task to such a great company with such a great group of guys behind them. All of our stuff were packed with care and delivered to our new home. We couldn't be happier!!

Entertaining and efficient

One of the reasons I enjoyed working with Xtreme movers is that they are fun to work with! They have such a good sense of humor. They made me laugh throughout the entire move. They are jolly, entertaining and fun to be around. I actually had a great time. On a serious note, they are highly efficient. They work hard and get the job done. They covered all my fragile items with bubble wraps and blankets. Nothing was damaged and the pricing did not change. Job well done.

Very impressed

I am very impressed by the way Xtreme movers handled my move. I would have done it on my own but I am recovering from a leg injury and wouldn’t want to make it worse. The guys at Xtreme movers were very helpful. They did everything I needed. They took care of my bikes, guitar, antique posters, furniture’s, electronics and everything else. It was a neat and clean job. They did not leave a mess behind. I’m happy that I chose them for my move.

Great work

I heard about Xtreme movers from one of my colleagues but was a bit hesitant to call them. I found some good reviews and decided to call them to move my old furniture to its new location. The foremen and his helpers reached on time. They carried furniture very quickly, thus giving me enough time to resettle myself. Their efficiency has given me better experience in terms of moving and handling. Taking a chance was a good decision.

You do get what you pay for

I did get what a paid for! An excellent service from Xtreme movers! Basically what do you look in a mover? Being punctual, being careful, efficient, polite, hardworking, no damages, nothing missing and no hidden fees right? They are everything what I just said. They moved me last month and got to know about all of their qualities. They are damn good! If you want this too, hurry up and call them.

Focused, diligent and professional

They are focused, diligent and professional movers. Four guys came to help us on the moving day and they are truly nice. I enjoyed every part of this move. I did not have to worry at all. They knew what was to be done and completed the packing and loading in only 6 hours. We were happy to see that our move was nicely done. We did not get any extra charges for helping us with the beds which we kind of thought will be added. All in all, it was a good move.

We are lucky!

I have to admit that we did not think we would be able to move in to our new home so quickly. The credit goes to xtreme movers. They fitted us in on such short notice whereas no one would even call back. We are deeply happy and amazed by their service. The men that xtreme movers sent were pros. Super-efficient and very hardworking. They worked for 4 hours straight. NO breaks, NO mistakes, NO damages at all. I’m seriously lucky that I found these guys.

As good as it gets

Xtreme movers did a fantastic job packing and moving my business. They had plenty of people on hand to load and pack and it didn’t take them too long to complete the job! We were very impressed and would use and recommend these guys from now on! The movers showed up on time and kept all of our belongings neat, clean and free of any damage. One of the good ones

Some moving companies are different from those bad ones everyone keeps complaining about. I can tell you from my experience of moving that with Xtreme movers you are in safe hands. They were very meticulous when it came to taking inventory, they wrapped everything very carefully and I was very impressed seeing how skilled they are at space management within their vans. Before I knew it, I was at my new house and their foreman handed me the inventory list. All my belongings had made it here safe and sound. It was the best way to move with these guys.

They give what is wanted

Thank god Xtreme movers let me have things my way! Otherwise I would have never hired them. I didn’t want them to put my furniture in storage units as that may increase the chance for damage. The manager was very attentively taking notes of my request. When the men arrived at my home, I was quite pleased to see how professional and well equipped they all were. They finished packing and loading everything so quickly. The delivery was prompt as well. There was no damage suffered by anything. Most moving companies would not be that flexible.

Truly helpful

I got three movers from Xtreme movers come down to my place to pack the belongings before the moving trailer arrived. The team was fast and efficient under the supervision of their foremen. They completed within the time frame they promised which was the main reason I hired them. The moving quote was quite accurate and differed by only a few dollars more, but this was because I had some extra furniture to be moved. I would certainly recommend these guys!

It was a very positive experience working with Xtreme movers. Their customer care was prompt to handle the telephone service and emails. From initial estimate to pickup and delivery, every step was handled in a professional manner. Both the pick-up and drop-off crews were very careful to ensure our furniture were loaded and unloaded without issues. Especially they were careful with my paintings and glassware. My entire experience from beginning to end was positive. The movers were cheerful but they worked hard and simultaneously. It was a pleasure working with them. Xtreme movers is a great company. I moved with their help a couple of weeks ago and they made sure all my valuables travel safely. I received very professional services from this company. They charged me reasonably for the move as well. I have a lot of respect for these guys for the wonderful job they do.

Some of our rather delicate items were excellently loaded by the crew and every piece was delivered without a single scratch on any of them. I do not expect much from movers given how bad they had been in the past. My last move, however, was different. Xtreme movers was nothing like I hoped them to be. They excelled in every aspect of relocation. They quoted inexpensively, the movers arrived on time and none of my valuables suffered any damage while being moved. This kind of performance is so rare in this business. I have to give it to them for being honest. They charged me nothing extra in the end. Safe delivery of all your valuables at a reasonable cost is all you ever ask for from a moving company!
