Evansville Climate

Registering Your Car

You have 60 days to register your car in Indiana from the date of the beginning of your residency in the state. A driver's license should be obtained within 60 days of becoming a resident of the state of Indiana. You are required to surrender your valid out of state driver's license before applying for an Indiana state license. Evansville Schools

Evansville has several notable educational institutions located within the city limits. There is one unified public school district for the city of Evansville, which is the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation. In this system are five public high schools, 11 middle schools and 20 elementary schools.

There are also five private and charter schools located in Evansville. For animal lovers, the Mesker Park Zoo is one of the oldest and largest zoos in the state of Indiana and it features over 200 species and 700 individual animals spread out over 50 acres of land.
