Moving to the Country

Change is fun and sometimes necessary. Even if you love the city life, people change and so do your likes and dislikes. Cities are always moving at a fast pace while the country is relaxed with less people. Living in a city is a high-stress environment whereas country life is plain and simple. What you see is what you get.

Here are some reasons why it's beneficial to move from the city to the country.

Find peace by moving away from the city

Cities are full of the hustle and bustle of people moving 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whether it's New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia or Chicago, a city never sleeps. Many people move away from the city, because they feel stressed out and need some tranquility.

It's hard to sleep in the city or have any sort of calm, because it's loud all the time. Cars honk and people yell at all hours. The city that never sleeps will make you never sleep again. People leave the city, because the country is calm and peaceful. Living in a rural area can give you privacy at a more relaxed pace.

Move to the country for safety and security

The level of safety varies greatly between the two environments. While it's usually not a good idea to let your children play outside in the city, country children are free to roam the open land without any cars or strangers to intrude.

In the country, it's easier for everyone to know each other. You can build relationships that allow you to detect an unfamiliar face right away. Because you know who lives around you, you will be more aware of strangers in your neighborhood.

Meet your neighbors easily in the country

In the city, people are more somewhat disconnected from their neighbors, because everyone is busy. It is difficult to connect with people when there's no time to create relationships. Making friends in the city usually only happens through the workplace, a mutual friend or schooling.

Living out in the country allows you to bond with the people around you. You can form relationships on the basis that your neighbors probably live in the country for the same reasons you do.

Move to the country to avoid pollution

Regardless of the size of a city, they will suffer from a greater amount of pollution then the open land. Noise, air and light pollution are strong in a city.

Migrating to rural area will provide you with fresh air not infected with city smog. Many people leave the city due to breathing problems, allergies or lack of energy.

Grow your own food in the country

Staying healthy is just a part of living. Many people move to the country side to grow their own food. It's difficult to harvest a healthy garden in the city, because there is not much farm land. Even though you can shop at an organic market in the city, some people prefer to plant their own.

Besides growing plants, dairy products such as milk, cheese and eggs are easily accessible in the country. You can purchase eggs and milk from a local farmer or even raise livestock yourself. Not only will this help you lead a healthy lifestyle, but you'll be able to save money!

Explore what the world has to offer

If you are given the opportunity to explore what the world has to the offer, take it. Living in the city is completely different than living in the country. Sometimes a change is needed to know what kind of area works best for you. Trying out new things allow you to broaden your horizons and help you grow as a person.
