WORST, RUDEST EVER. AVOID OR REGRET.
PLEASE BELIEVE THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU REGRET!!! I had a terrible experience with this household mover company. Navistar Van Lines hired Energy Moving Systems for the pick-up and storage, and R

WORST MOVING SERVICE EVER!!!!
This business has lost multiple furniture items of mine, sent me a claim form and never followed up. I constantly emailed them with the responses being no help at all. Months passed by and no one ever reached out to me so 7 months later I decided to call for the funds I am owed for my missing furniture. I assume they thought I was just going to take the loss. So when I called a woman from the claims department told me one thing and a guy who claims his last name is Santos told me something different. When I attempted to tell him the claims women told me something different and I just wanted to confirm he yelled at me saying "It is 5mins before closing and I am not doing this with you" and then he proceeded to hang up on me. I called back,he answered and I threatened to call the BBB and he gladly called back and I stated "No it's 1min before closing I wouldn't want you to stay longer than you have to" and I hung up. This business is disgusting and unprofessional and they just worry about the money, they don't care about the customers or anything else. I have had problems with the guys that picked up my furniture,to the customer service reps. The only person I came into contact with that was professional was the guy that unloaded the truck into my new home (the driver).

Disappointed
My moving experience was disappointing. I hired Cross Country Moving Group, but they outsourced the moving to Energy Moving Systems. Once the movers showed up to my place to pick up my belongings, I realized they were not the company I hired. I researched the company quickly and slightly freaked out because their ratings were so low. I emailed Cross Country asking why they hired this company and what I should do in the event that my items turn up broken or missing. Cross Country tells me to "not be so negative" and that all moves are different so this one might not be as bad. So I trusted them. The movers were polite and loaded my things on the truck; however, the gentleman who had me sign the documents didn't seem too confident in what he was saying when I asked for an explanation regarding filing claims for missing/broken items. They also took a photo of my credit card and license and texted it to someone to charge it. That didn't sit well with me. After they left with all of my items, I began to worry. There was no email for the company, nor was there a website. I worried that my items were pretty much going to go missing. Once my items got to the final destination, the guys moving my things in let me know that my coffee table leg had broken in transit. They were nice enough to tell me how to get it fixed, though. What they didn't tell me is that my exercise bike, many dishes, and one if my plastic totes were also broken. I found that out as I was unpacking. I can't place blame on a specific guy for breaking my items (because I'm not sure if they broke in transit or during the unloading process), but I'm sure someone at the company knew that my items were broken before they were given back to me. Had I simply been notified about these damages, I would have looked past it. Since they pretended like everything was fine when they delivered my items, I lost trust in the company. I'm honestly too upset and busy getting used to living in a new area to worry myself about filing a claim for reimbursement or replacement of my broken items. I've just taken this as a lesson learned that you get what you pay for. If the price is very low and "too good to be true," it most like will come at the expense of something else (like, your valuable possessions being damaged/lost/etc.). Just take this advice: you may have a good experience with Energy Moving Systems, and you may not. Given the amount of negative reviews, I suggest you err on the side of caution and expect a poor experience. If at all possible, shell out couple hundred more dollars and hire a more reputable company. That is, if you value your belongings and don't like being stressed out. To Energy Moving Systems, please understand that moving is very stressful and overwhelming for everyone involved. It would be great if you could help reduce some of that stress by ensuring that you will do whatever i

Wow - won't accept a cashiers check ...
Seems to be an EXTREME lack of communication from these movers. Deposit made via credit card. Pick up was occurring and only then was I told that they needed cash. Couldn't accomodate but they accepted a personal check and cashed an hour later at my back. Quoted delivery was 2-3 weeks. Took 5. I send a cashiers check to my daughter to accept delivery, they wouldn't accept (really, a GUARANTEED cashiers check is better than the requested money order) then threatened to hold the delivery and charge storage. Do not appreciate the extortion attempt. Surprisingly, this wasn't the lowest quote but I should have dug a little more into the reviews. I will go out of my way to tell people not to use energy moving that was contracted though best movers.
