Terrible Experience

loors,for which they had to send a repair man who did not do much (my husband had to figure it out and this was shortly before the buyers were coming to inspect the place BEFORE closing). We didn't get insurance and that's on us,but also,when moving into our new place this company lost an expensive platter,one large box of pantry baskets and kitchen stuff,messed up an expensive desk,scarred one of our custom shelves,destroyed our washing machine,and destroyed a rolling desk. No doubt,everyone expects some collateral damage and that is why you get insurance but also,I didn't expect them to damage about a third of our things. The price to move us out,store everything and then move it in was pretty pricey too. And some of the people moving our things into our new house were reluctant to move furniture where it needed to be and did not have the right tools to move other pieces of furniture. I mean,if you are not going to bring the right tools,why,then,are you even a moving company? My husband and I have just spent a better part of the morning moving a sofa they were not able to for this very reason. Using this company was a total waste of money and with what we had to spend between repairing damage,getting a new washing machine,etc. it cost something like $11,000 total! DON'T use this company. It went smoothly

It went smoothly. We had already boxed up a lot of our stuff by ourselves so it was mostly a furniture move. They had to wrap up the furniture and they don't wrap linens which I thought they did. When they take down beds and put them back together they don't wrap the linens. The only other frustrating part was that if you have a bed that has a lot to disassemble there's extra fees for that. It was nice that they came out and assessed everything that I was moving, so that's a plus. They were real easy to work with at the new house with rearranging the furniture and getting stuff on and off the truck, so it worked out good. Read more
