Horrible Moving Experience, NEVER ...

After 42 days of waiting, 39 emails and 63 phone calls, finally I received the shipment with broken futon, broken bed frame and missing dining table. I feel lucky that at least I received the shipment. The way they operate, everyone will not be lucky to get their stuff. If you read reviews of this company online, there are many who never received their shipment. They are totally unprofessional. Basically they are broker and not a moving company. They don't have their own truck. They just take the shipment order and subcontract them to some other cheap company. Once they subcontracted the order, their job is over. It your responsibility to track the shipment by calling so many different vendors. I moved from TX to NY. The company to which President moving has subcontracted picked up on time. After 15 days I called President moving to get the status of the shipment, they said I'll receive my shipment in another week. After 21 days when I did not receive my shipment when I called them again they said it is in transit. I was worried about my household and my kid was asking for his favourite toys. I booked the hotel for 15 days and I was paying $1000 every week. Since all my stuff was with President moving I cant move to the house I rented. I was frustrated and nervous. After 25 days of waiting, I called the company which picked up my shipment since I was not getting any update from president moving. I got to know from subcontracted company that they have never shipped my stuff and it was all lying down there in the warehouse in Austin, TX. When I didn't receive my shipment after 40 days, I decided to sue them. I told them if I am not receiving my shipment in two days, I'll have to move to court. Once they got to know that lawyers are lined up to sue them somehow they managed to get my shipment after 42 days of waiting. The shipment came with missing dining table, broken bed frame and broken futon. The owner of the company, Mike promised me to give compensation for the delay and broken stuff but when I asked him for the compensation he sent me a claim form. Inexperienced crew, average service

I thought that the guys really didn't know what they were doing. They were very nice and they were here for a long time. I felt that they were inexperienced. The pricing was the best. I guess that is why they were inexperienced. I received all the services that I requested. My recommendations to anyone using them would depend on what they are moving. If they are moving a lot of breakable stuff, I would say no. If you are moving regular stuff I would say yes. They did pack well. They were here forever. They didn't seem to know what they were doing. They were really nice though. I mean super nice. It is just that I felt they were inexperienced. When they were there they were asking to borrow cell phone chargers and stuff that they shouldn't have asked for. Read more

Fantastic job

It was good. They got to my house early. They were very efficient at packing all of my things - the glass on top of my coffee table. They were quick and efficient. The pricing was reasonable. They were one of the most reasonable ones. I did receive all the services that I requested. It was a matter of seconds after I made the inquiry online that they contacted me. Packing was absolutely to my satisfaction. I just would say for a short move, not a far distance, and for packing up a small house, that they were the right price and they did a fantastic job. Horrible experience

It was awful. Made my life a living hell. They cost too much money and they were not even nice. They didn't communicate. Not only with myself, but with the third party that sent my stuff to Las Vegas. It was awful. I would never recommend them to anybody. They threw my stuff around. When the guys came to move, they didn't speak English. All my boxes were damaged when they got here. They were totally undamaged when they were leaving my apartment in New York. They had a third party move my actual stuff. And they had no idea what was going on. For future customers I can say don't use them. Read more

Awesome service !

The guys were great. They work fast. Only one thing I didn't know about - if they don't disassemble anything, they won't put it back together but they did whatever they can. Overall, they did a good job. Only thing - my TV stand... I was away on my honeymoon, just got back and one of the legs cracked during the moving. Not much of a big deal though. The prices were good at first but when they came there was a couch.... Only one thing, they charged extra because the couch could not fit in the elevator. They had to take it down the stairs because it was too long. So they charged extra. That is about it. I wasn't expecting the charges but it is what it is. The packing service... I think overall it was great except for the crack on my TV stand. Overall everything was good and everything was awesome. I guess I received all the services that I requested. This is my first time. I was very pleased with President Moving from the time that I talked to them about giving me a price to the time they picked up my things. I have moved many times and have had some horrible experiences. President Moving were amazing! I've now found a mover I can count on for my future relocation (not hoping soon). Good Choice!

I was moving from NYC to FL. I was finally retired and moving down to a new house that had a dock. I was looking forward to settling down into a life of boating and fishing. I lost my wife a few years ago, but I wasn't alone. My grandchildren visited me every summer and now I was able to devote all my time to them. I lived in this house for over 20 years and I had accumulated a lot of things. My former boss suggested that I use President Moving for my move. One of his friends used them recently and was very happy with their move. I called them to set up an estimate. Yosef came over, surveyed my items and told me that it would take few days and two trucks to complete my job. He made a very good impression on me and I decided to give President Moving a try. The next day one of their agents called me gave me their estimate and set things up. I was happy with the price because United and Mayflower estimated much more. 2 weeks later I was moving and they did a good job. I tipped their guys and have been enjoying my fishing since. I recently used President Moving to move my precious household stuffs from NYC to CA. We contacted a number of movers and only President Moving actually dispatched someone to our home to give us an onsite estimate. Amazing service! Starting with our representative Joe, to the Team leader Robert and his team. President Moving really does roll out the red carpet to protect your floors, wraps the door frames for protection, wraps each piece of furniture with blankets, box your flat screen, plus does so much more to insure safe delivery of your belongings. Very Pleasant Experience

I recently moved from Uptown Manhattan to New Jersey. I searched various moving companies online and called those in my area with the best reviews. I gathered quotes and finally went with President, they made everything seem simple. All I had to do was provide them a list of all the items I was moving and they gave me a flat rate. I did end up paying a bit more than my orginal quote but it was because I added a few last minute items but they had explained this to be in advance so it wasn't a surprise to me. They wrapped everything and placed it where I needed it place. The movers were friendly and the office representives were extremely helpful. There was no trickory or sneakiness. Good service done in a timely manner

I don't have anything in specific to say. They said in a week's time they did it. I guess so yes the price was reasonable but they charged $150 extra for distance or something. Apart from it it was good. The crew were good enough. I would say they were professional and they were on time. No we did everything on our own. So they didn't do any packing. I liked their quick and fast services

They did everything good, quick and fast. They just broke one glass table and they said they were gonna send someone to measure the glass and replace it. But, no one ever came to measure and they never replaced the glass. Before the move they gave me the exactly the number I was going to pay, so it was the exactly number we agreed on. It was kind of good because they didn't give me less amount but they gave me exact number, so I knew exactly how much I am going to pay, so that was good thing about them. The staff members behaved very good. They were friendly, and they were on-time they did everything quick and fast. Yes, packing and everything was good. I liked the company. WoW!!!

President moving move me from a 4 bedroom condo to another 4 bedroom condo. The movers arrived on time the day of my move and moved all of my furniture and personal items to the new condo without damage to the items or the walls of either building. They even informed the front desk at both buildings that the move was complete and that the elevators could be taken off of service mode. Read more
