We hired progressive to move to CT and paid almost $1400 down. When they were unable to schedule a truck,I cancelled and received an email confirming that I had cancelled 5 or more days before the scheduled move,so my deposit was refundable but would be held as a credit for 1 YEAR,to be refunded in August 2022. August comes no refund and now the company has closed. My guess is that it’s just a room full of scammers who’ve opened up under some other fake moving company name. Lesson: stick with the majors. They’re about as reliable as possible in this industry. Trying to save a few bucks isn’t worth it. Read more

Excellent service

My rep was helpful from the very first call and I could book quickly. The day of the move a professional crew came over. These were polite and hard working guys. I was told it could be a 6.5 hour move but it was done in just 4.5 hours. Nothing got lost or damaged. I will hire this company again. Read more

SCAMMER!!

Progressive Van Lines is not a moving company. It is a fraud ring that collects thousands and thousands of non refundable deposits. Once they have your deposit, they have no financial incentive to ensure your move is conducted on time, is conducted to any type of professional standard, or that if your household goods are even moved at all. I was promised to get my belogings in 3-5 days but ended up getting them after 3 months. On top of that I had a lot of broken items which of course I never got compensation for. Read more

Bad Service!!!!

I called Progresive Van Lines and spoke to Dylan regarding moving service of household items from FL to KY. I was given a quote of $1200, I agreed to the service and paid the deposit. After a few weeks the charge for the service increases to over $1800. Upon receipt of my belongings, I received damaged items: dresser, mattress, bed side rails, toys and one Box containing books, school certificates, personal identifying information, pictures and other items of sentimental value were missing. I made several calls to Progressive Van Lines regarding the missing box. I have been having communication with Dylan and another gentleman not helpful at all. I filed a claim for the damaged items but I would like the missing box returned to me since it contains very important and valuable items. Read more

Bad MOVERS

Dylan quoted me a great price and then when they showed up the quote nearly doubled based on the amount of cubic footage my belongings took up in the truck. The only problem is that my belongings didn't take up nearly as much cubic footage as they claimed, they were needlessly reluctant to adjust the price to the proper amount and they refused to counter my estimates by providing evidence that my belongings were indeed using up as much cubic footage as they claimed. The customer service was poor, providing updates only once per week, not calling me back when promised, and avoiding my calls when I reached out to them. Read more

Poor Work

The day we were moving arrived, two guys and a van arrived, and the first question they asked me was why hadn't I packed anything. I explained I was told the quote included packing, they said they could do this but didn't. I don't like the team at all. Read more

Poor Work!

The Progressive Van Lines were worst in the moving business. We called them for 24 hours with no reply. Nothing for 24 hours and then after I repeatedly called, I finally heard back from Rocky stating that our belongings hadn't left Jack and would not be delivered for another 10 days. Worst experience.
