I highly endorsed these guys merely on their customer kindness and their willingness and accessibility to help me in my time of need! They were able to book me for the very next day for my short notice emergency. I have not actually used Tri-State Area Movers but I was in a circumstances where I had employ another company which was believe to arrive at 9 am. They handled everything carefully

Tri-State Area Movers has many strategies to move things starting with one spot then onto the next. There is a major crate like truck, beds with Angular bars on the sides. They load them up quick and full. We generally have a few weighty things with loads in them however they handle them like they don't weigh anything by any stretch of the imagination. It was a magnificent moving experience from begin to end. There was positively no question which movers we needed to utilize. The movers was so coordinated, smooth and quick. There were two separate extra rooms on the first floor and the second floor however both overflow loaded with boxes and furniture and things previously stuffed quite well. Scam Artists

Ultimate SCAMMERS!!! Photos attached. After 2! Walkthroughs,was quoted between $7k-$8k. After they packed all of our stuff they told us it would be $18k!!!!!!! (Changed it to $15.7k to be "nice." Not only that,they broke over $5k worth of our stuff and stole our tool set (pictured) and my son's new bicycle he got from his great grandfather for Christmas. We paid *Extra* for insurance and come back with a $50 settlement. Stay away. Happy to share videos of them admitting to scamming! We leveraged their packing skills.

This is a long overdue review. We've used Tri-State Area Movers two more times. In the subsequent moves, we leveraged their PACKING SKILLS and the crew were far faster and better at packing than us. They were great at protecting all our glassware and ceramics, and all boxes were well-labeled. When we got our boxes back, everything was in GOOD SHAPE, nothing was broken. Fraud of a company- The owner should ...

The move took place on 1/28/22 and was to be delivered on 1/28/22 On 1/31/20, I received a call from the company advising me that I needed to pay an additional $820.21 for additional cubic feet used in the truck and if I did not give cash or wire the money, they would not deliver my personal belongings. I had the price of $2,037.00, which was confirmed with everything that was being moved. When the drivers showed up, they smelled like marijuana, which made me and my family very uncomfortable . My neighbors witnessed them dropping things out of the truck. Many of my boxes were opened, broken and things were not the way I packed them. The movers brought a furniture blanket in with some kitchen items. I found when I opened the wardrobe boxes, many things were missing. The couch was torn in all corners and wet in many spots. All of my furniture damaged on all corners, chipped wood and dented. My couch was ripped on the corners and was wet. The office desk was missing the bottom parts so the desk is unusable. The Weber grill was bent on both ends and dented. The bedroom furniture was damaged all over and the hope chest corners were destroyed. An antique telephone table is damaged on all sides. The trundle bed spring support was broken. The Coffee table and end table was scratched and wood missing. The Nespresso machine's water tank and frother was broken. I am still missing many things that I cannot replace. My plastic bins labelled "Bathroom" were taped before they did the move and when they arrived. The tape was gone and prescription medications were gone and there were Christmas items in that bin with bathroom items. This company also charged my credit card $2,038.00 after I paid them with a bank check, which I am disputing the charge. The company will not respond to me. I truly regret using this company and wish I saw reviews prior to this move!!! Read more

These guys are life savers. Very responsive and reasonable! They worked their tails off to help us move, they took EXTRA CARE to understand what's important to us, protect our stuff and provide GOOD COMMUNICATION. The approximate process was UP-FRONT, and promise within a two-hour maximum. It didn't go a penny over. Even preferable, they accepted my Visa debit card at the end of the move. I'm glad I went with their advice of three movers for the amount of furniture I had to move. They came on time and went right to work. All three guys hear to my directive PATIENTLY and carried them out to the letter, even authorize for some last-minute changes as I discovered unexpected extra furniture I'd nearly missed.
