JUST DON'T DO IT. This company is terrible. The reviews are fake. It took them 3.5 MONTHS to deliver our stuff. We heard nothing from them for MONTHS. After 6 weeks of hearing nothing from them,we assumed they stole our stuff. We filed a police report. Only after the detective called did we hear from the owner who tried to explain away why the stuff hadn't been delivered. We said we wanted to come pick up our stuff,but they said they wouldn't refund the money if we did that. The owner said our stuff was on "the next truck." It took another 3 WEEKS after that before we got our stuff. Save yourself time,money,and frustration,NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY. If you are stuck with this company like we were and they have your stuff hostage. CALL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY. Our last step before contacting a lawyer was to call our Renter's/Homeowner's Insurance company. The insurance company want to pay for all your stuff that was stolen so they will put the screws to this guy. threaten legal action and make him deliver your stuff. A 5 days after we connected the insurance company,they delivered our stuff. They only sent 1 mover. Only 1 person to carry,beds,tables,dressers,bookshelves,so my mother and aunt had to move the stuff themselves. They are considering legal action.

FRAUD!!!

We scheduled to move my mothers belongings from Utah to Michigan with Authority Moving Group that turned out be a broker. Authority sub- contracted with Alpine Van Lines. What a mistake! Alpine Van Lines showed up in a white unmarked truck on April 14 and picked up my mother,s boxes and furniture. They did not have the proper manifest forms - that describe the item and corresponding sticker number, so the "lead" wrote the items and sticker numbers on the back of an envelope and they told us that the truck would go straight to Michigan and it would take 3 - 4 days to get there. After Alpine Van Lines loaded the goods, they told us that they had 28 days to make the delivery but it wouldn't take 28 days - that it would take a lot less. As of today, June 4, we still do not have a delivery date. We are not even sure where the good are. If you love your mother, DO NOT USE Alpine Van Lines or their other name Sunrise Van Lines. We are also filling a criminal complaint with the AG's Office in Utah, Florida and Michigan. With service like this they should not be in business. Buyer Beware!

Absolute worst

The original quote covered 6 wardrobe boxes, 20 medium/large boxes, and 1 queen bedroom set. They ended up charging me extra because they picked up "a few extra boxes and peices." Secondly I had my stuff picked up October 17th with a requested and expected delivery date of 29 October. TODAY IS NOVEMBER 13TH, and it finally came. When I contacted the company to ask what happened around Oct 27th, they had no answer and said "we don't know why your stuff didn't make it on our first truck heading there, we're sorry." With the delay, of two weeks, we had to go out and buy everything that was packed with our HHG (i.e. work clothes, linen, kitchenware, utensils, etc). We still owed the remainder of $844 on the back end of delivery and on top of that, spent an additional $1,000 on essentials to live with while our stuff was still in transit. Their customer service "Ron" is a joke, a crooked joke if you ask me, and his counterpart, the one who picked up our things "Andrew" is just the same. I tried calling both of them and explaining that because of their (at fault) delay of our household goods, I had to come out of pocket for necessities, and for that would like a little compensation from the delivery fee ($200-$300) off from the final $844 owed. Well let's just say, Ron (customer service) said he had to talk to Andrew, then Andrew said he had to talk to Ron, they dodged my calls for days with no answer for any compensation. To this day, they are still giving me the run around like I'm an actual fool, but I'd rather you just tell me to go kick rocks rather than insult my intellect. AND PLEASE, if you use a company like this, make sure you have direct access TO YOUR DOOR to wherever you're shipping to/from. They won't tell you this, but if they have to take elevators, stairs, etc, they will charge you $100 more. And for every 75feet after that (each trip) they will charge you $75 each!!!! Luckily this didn't happen to me but this is how they scam you out of more and more money. This company "ALPINE VAN LINES" and many like it should be ashamed of how they do business and treat customers as useless piggy banks for their own selfish means. A side note, the original person that quoted me was Jack. Nice guy, nothing to do with the trucks or packing. So I take none of this out on him. I would say that he deserves to work for a better company so his image won't be tarnished with theirs.

Don't do bussiness with this company

Let me start telling that all the reviews they have are fake. Everything they say is a lie. When they quoted us never told us the moving wasn't leaving the same day of the moving. The day before the moving the sales person told us it would take from 3 to 5 days to get from Miami Beach to Virginia. Then, when they home to pick up the moving the driver told us 10 days but at that point and 100 dollars deposit what were we going to do other than let them do the moving. We called several times and they always had an excuse for what the furniture hasn't gotten to our new house yet. To make the story short, after 3 weeks waiting for the furniture, sleeping in an inflatable mattress and eating on the floor they called us they were coming in 2 days. At the end, they came just an elderly guy and a women to deliver the furniture. My husband and my brother in law had to bring furniture 1 floor up( they knew our apartment was on the first floor). The worst, after all this dilemma, they didn't bring 1 chair of our dinning set, and another completely broken in half. Two decorative wall pictures were damaged, all scratched. The shades of our lampes also broken, among other things. You could tell they weren't careful moving the goods because the boxes were all falling apart, and all the damage on our stuff. Lastly when they arrive here you have to pay in cash or money order before they start unloding your stuff, so you don't have another option than being scammed by this people. The worst of the worst. Don't fall for the good quote price nor they reviews on the internet, they are written by themselves. This company is a complete fraud!!!!

Never received refund for my deposit

I was shopping around for movers. Made a deposit of $200 with Alpine Van Lines, my contact was Chris (no last name, just labeled on estimate “Chris1”). He was nice however, very pushy and a bit aggressive with locking me in after our phone call via text. Well, due to a job I was going to get in the new city, it fell through (not hired) so I decided to stay, because of the pandemic. I gave over a two week notice to cancel the move via text AND email. I never received a response. Then today he finally responded and said no refund. The policy per the estimate email I received stated the following (cut and pasted): ******************************************* CANCELLATION POLICIES: ONCE YOU ARE SCHEDULED - THE DEPOSIT IS REFUNDABLE UP TO 7 business days PRIOR TO YOUR ACTUAL PICK-UP date. All deposits go towards the reservation of a specified date, truck, and crew. All clients can change or reschedule their dates with no fees as long as there is a minimum of 7 business days written notice from the original scheduled pick-up date. There is no rescheduling fee if the allotted period for notice is met. AT THE TIME OF PICK-UP (AND WITHIN 7 business days OF THE PICK-UP) - IF THE MOVE IS CANCELLED WITHIN 7 business days OF THE ACTUAL PICK-UP, OR CANCELLED AT THE TIME OF THE PICK-UP, THE DEPOSIT IS AUTOMATICALLY FORFEITED BY THE CUSTOMER. WE ALSO CHARGE BETWEEN 10-25% OF THE TOTAL ESTIMATE, BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF TIME/WORK ALREADY PUT INTO THE JOB. Chris still stated via text that I will not get my deposit. I have screen shots of the texts and still have emails. Do not let these guys pressure you if you don’t want to use them. I would never recommend this company. Side note: this company is also known as Sunrise Van Lines. I heard Sunset was absolutely terrible. So these guys are the same company. Please be careful. I’ll put this all over the Internet.

Excellent service

Shout out to Alpine Vanlines-Honestly I went through a rigorous experience trying to find a reliable moving company.I asked friends and friends of friends for their suggestions for moving company. I read through all the yelp PRO TIP. I was distrusful . Someone recomended Alpine I was surprise they were so good and profecionalNice guys.Really think they are the best movers honest. Would recommend them over and over to evryone I know !

Bang on quote

When a moving company quotes a ridiculously low amount, you must expect an inefficient move with lots of your valuables broken or lost by the delivery time. I expected the same with Alpine van lines given how low heir quote was. But they do have a good reputation so I figured they would probably add double the amount to the final bill in the name of surcharges! Imagine my surprise when I received the final bill, after a ridiculously efficient pickup and delivery, and the number on it was the exact amount they quoted. I took three inventories to check what was wrong. There were no flaws anywhere with this move, nor were any of my items missing. I guess you can move easily on a budget, you just have to hire this company!

Great guys

Alpine van lines was absolutely amazing at helping me with my move! The movers were on time for my moving window and everything went by speedy and efficient. It really looked like the guys knew what they were doing. The two movers were very professional and polite. Really nice guys. If we ever decided to move again, I will be sure to use these guys again.

Such a quick move

On the day of the move the crew from Alpine van lines showed up on time and was extremely helpful and friendly. We had done our part but as an inexperienced customer, I was concerned if I had done the packing wrong. As it turned out, not everything was properly packed. The men simply repacked all the dodgy boxes and left in a very short time. They delivered later that day and it turned out to be the quickest move I could have ever imagined.

Solid performance from these movers

We just simply couldn’t afford the expensive moving companies. Alpine van lines quoted the cheapest and that’s why we hired them. They turned out to be quite efficient. The movers showed up half an hour early on the moving day. Their work was impeccable and every little detail was taken care of. The delivery was made on time and they didn’t add any hidden costs to the final bill. These men made this move possible. It’s so good to see people still provide solid services without charging too much for it.

Great first move

I had never moved to another area within the state, much less to another state entirely. But this time I was moving quite far away. My only saviors during this move were the movers from Alpine van lines. From the start, everyone I spoke with at this company was helpful, professional and courteous. I especially appreciated it when they were explaining the things to be aware of when considering a moving company. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs their services and I will use them again for my next move.

Simply amazing

After doing an online request and receiving several quotes from different websites I decided to use Alpine van lines. Their movers turned out to be outstanding. Everything was carefully packed and loaded into their van. They took direction well and for the most part did a great job. Their pricing is very fair and includes all the wrap and tape you could ever need. The entire move went smoothly and I am grateful to them for my move.

We recently hired Alpine van lines for a full packing and un-packing move. They were very competitively priced and were on-time and very professional for all appointments, from the initial estimation through to the moving day(s). Our move required 3 full days, one for packing our belongings, then another for moving and last for unpacking. They were fast, helpful, took great care of our things, and moved smartly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend Alpine van lines to anyone who is looking for a competitive price.

They are the best

None of the moving companies we hired in the past came even close to how the guys from Alpine van lines handled our last move. The movers were very strong and experienced. They packed up all my belongings quickly and the loading process was also completed very fast. Not only were they fast, they were precise too. Nothing skipped their eyes. They made the delivery on time and my belongings traveled very well. After having relocated more than ten times and working with 8 different moving companies, I can certainly say that this one is the best moving company out there.

I hired Alpine van lines to handle our first ever move which we were completely going crazy over. They were so amazing that I had to admit that this relocation was just too easy. They arrived on time and wasted no time while working. They worked like machines packing everything and then loading them on to the van. The space in the van was properly utilized. The delivery was made on the scheduled day with all our belongings intact. I wasn’t expecting such efficiency from these guys. We are so happy with the way these guys handled our entire move.

I have never had a good move in the past. But hiring Alpine van lines saved me a lot of hassles during my last move and made me forget all the miseries the other companies had put me through. They were prompt in every possible way. They called me back with a quote within minutes of my first call. The movers were also very fast. They were done with the whole packing and loading process within a very short time. They made the delivery on time. I checked my inventory list and everything was there in great condition. I couldn’t believe how well the men took care of my belongings. I am forever grateful.

Top class services

The whole process was very smooth and very efficient. The movers came to my house on time and were super friendly to me and my family. I asked them if I could get some extra boxes and they sent me a whole bunch of boxes before the move date! Nobody has ever done that! When we got to the new house, every piece of furniture was handled with the care that you would have for a baby. I made sure to give them a tip after they maneuvered a king sized mattress and frame across the entire house. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone who is moving soon and hasn’t decided on a company yet.

My family is very satisfied

Unfortunately, when the call came, I had to rush out to a new city. I left my wife and my son in charge of the moving. They had no issues with the move and that’s because of Alpine van lines. This company is just amazing. Their rates are just top-notch and always reasonable. The men they employ are very experienced and skilled. When I received everything here, all my things were intact, not even a new scratch on any of them. I was totally surprised by the efficiency these guys displayed. Just leave your moving responsibilities to these guys and you won’t be disappointed.

Great movers

Alpine van lines were careful with all my items and were very good and professional. Even when a piece of my furniture could not make it to my new place,they introduced me to a furniture store in my area for a replacement. Highly recommended.

Anybody that needs to move should call Alpine Van Lines. They delivered ahead of schedule. Every single item made it in its original shape. I really thankful for those movers at both pick up and drop off for such an amazing job and for being so professional,mindful and polite.

I am so tired of companies giving broken promises. I almost lost hope that there is still one great company that will live up to their customer's expectations and keep their promises. Indeed. such types of companies still exist. Alpine Vanlines kept their promises to make sure that they will have a timely move and none of my things will be stolen, lost, or broken. They did a really great job in my opinion! I think it is definitely about time for other companies to be true to their words if they fear the possibility of closing in the future. Unless the public realizes that if you're moving, you should use Alpine, I did, and I am happy I made that choice. Thanks for letting me share
