Easy Experience For Me

Basically the move out was very easy, I needed to move it up a day so they cam early on few days notice. I had a small move so it took me three days to Annapolis which was fun. So it was an easy experience, no complaints at all.

The overall experience was good. They came on time. They way they worked was much faster than expected. They packed the things very quickly. They loading and unloading was pretty quick. They reached their destination without damages. The people that moved the items were very good and friendly.

They were very helpful, they went above and beyond the call of duty. They were very careful and polite and they actually basically did everything that I asked. So I thought it was very good.

They charged almost double what they ...

I was told a payment of, I think, $300 or maybe something close to that, but then it took me like four hours. So for the four hours they charged me close to $500, I think. But they had an extra thing that they will be doing, someone actually comes out from Massachusetts and I'll have to pay for their travel back to Massachusetts, which I was not told before. So I was not really satisfied with that thing. For me, I was quoted like $90 per hour. It takes... five hours. Ultimately that would come out to like $500, but I ended up paying like $900.

It was a perfect move.

Everything was perfect ... Their pricing, their responsiveness and how quick and efficient they were at coming in and packing the truck and then unpacking it, getting everything completed in a short time ... They did a very good job.

I highly recommend them.

Best movers I've ever had

Absolutely awesome, very smooth, very quick, and very professional. I've moved a couple of times and I actually moved about a month before this and the whole experience from beginning to end was very impressive. Best movers I've ever had.

I couldn't have been more pleased

I had everything packed up for them they arrived on time, they were a little late but i had said to them if you need to be a little late thats fine, so to me they were on time, they showed up they were really quick they were very efficient, they weren't hanging around talking like i thought...they were great, nothing was broken, then they unpacked it for me brought it up to the new place and asked me where I wanted the big things and I couldn't have been more pleased.

Do not use them

Bad experience. They lost boxes of mine because they piggy-backed it. And they must have packed them incorrectly. In the process of doing the insurance claim, they nicked some of my furniture. They said they couldn't get my desk into the room that it was supposed to go into and the maintenance guy managed to do it 1-2-3. They dinged my walls in one or two places. I told them my ladder was missing. They finally found the ladder that was on the truck. They thought it was theirs but they have not delivered it back to me yet. They said that after the first of August, they would be down my way to deliver it. I am still waiting. They said it took them two weeks to contact the people they moved before me or after me. I don't even believe they attempted to contact them because they must have all my kitchen utensils, that kind of stuff. And I don't believe the weight they got on it because I didn't have that much furniture to weigh 3,000 pounds.

Very competent and courteous service

They were courteous, friendly, helpful, quick and really efficient. Their pricing was very good; by that, I mean that is was very competitive. There was not a single damage to any of my items and I would recommend their service to those I know.

Pleasant guys made the moving ...

The personality of the two guys that they sent over to our place was nice. Their pleasant personality made it a good move. Having said that, I would like to mention that they broke my kitchen table - one of the legs - and haven't reimbursed me yet. But the overall moving experience was great. The staff took care of all of my stuff and delivered it where it needed to go. Apart from these things, they offered us a fairly reasonable price. I would suggest them to friends and family.

Unprofessional movers

I was told that professional movers would be sent to my house on moving day, however I was sent three movers, none of which were the slightest bit professional. It was a hot June day when I moved and the temperature was over 90 degrees, yet one of the movers was wearing flannel pants. It was supposed to be a very simple move, I was only going one mile, however they managed to damage just about everything they moved, including most of my furniture.

Service was on par with excellence

Moving with children can be very difficult but with this moving company the entire move was like a walk in the park. The movers arrived on time and packed all of our belongings on time and without any damages. They were very respectful and cooperative. They were more than willing to help especially while we were unloading our goods at our new destination. I would definitely use them again and would refer them to my friends and family.

I used Father and Sons Moving for my move and their service really deserves a pat on the back. They came on time and packed my things carefully. The entire move was conducted in a professional manner and the pricing was reasonable. I definitely would reccomend them to my friends and family.
