This company is a brokerage, and they will lowball you an estimate and then you end up paying double, if not triple, your quoted price. They claim that they tell you it is a basic rate and the movers quote on site, but we were never told that. We had to accept the price offered as we were leaving the next day, but also had to leave all of our furniture behind because we would have had to pay an additional $2000 for it. If I could leave zero stars that would be a better ranking.

These awesome folks were ready for the challenge! They took apart my bed frame and wrapped each piece in soft blankets to keep it safe during the move. They lifted my big sofa onto the truck carefully and made sure it wouldn't slide around. They also took my dining table apart and wrapped each part in bubbly wrap.

I had the absolute worst experience with GS Van lines. Some of the highlights were deceptively low first estimate with a promise of 48 hour cancellation,which then was declined and followed with immediate threats of collection and the rep yelling at me. My move ended up costing more than twice than my original estimate even though I got rid of many items. At no point during my move I knew how much it would cost me to get my stuff back. They subcontract work to other companies,the company I had told me different things that GS Van Lines (e.g. that they would charge me for packing supplies). I do a lot of subcontracting at my job and never had to deal wish such deceitful and rude company.

The movers were amazing. They came on time – precisely at 9 am – and did all their work responsibly. When it was time to pack my fragile things came over and asked me how I wanted them to be packed.

My wine collection was moved carefully by this firm. They took extra precautions to ensure that my belongings made it to my new house in one piece. The whole experience was so pleasant!!!

They team seems to get more done in less time than most others I've seen in action. They advised me by phone that they could arrive a bit early, and they did. Moving into my new place with them only took about half as long as it did with my prior movers.

Contrary to experiences with other companies, the movers from here didn't put additional charges on my tab for moving any items up the stairs of my new apartment, even for the heavy furniture! They stuck to the limit provided initially and the final bill was same as the estimate given. Very thankful!

My wife and I just moved into our new apartment, and we hired their movers. They were incredible and treated all our belongings with care. They also placed all my wife’s winter coats in wardrobe boxes. Everything was delivered safely. It was a phenomenal experience!
