TOTAL SCAM COMPANY---DO NOT EVER USE ...

This company is a total scam and price-gauger. They were not reliable in the least and many of my items were missing,destroyed,or damaged beyond repair. Their claim process is a total joke. They jacked up the price in many creative ways. Never showed up or delivered on the date(s) that was agreed upon. There was no regard for my time,property,or inconvenience at any time during this process. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!

I hired Ideal Moving and Storage a week ago for a long distance move across state, and I am happy to report that everything went smoothly. I have never seen a moving crew work so hard, and so efficiently like the one I got when I hired Ideal Moving for my last move. They were super impressive, working the entire day with hardly any breaks. They had a lot of stuff to pack and move, but they did not complain, they just kept working. Amazing Moving Experience!

Over the years, I have been severely mistreated by moving companies that I have hired for different moves. From having my calls ignored for days after booking a service, and paying the deposit, to actually having many of household items stolen, I can say that moving has been a consistent nightmare. However, I now feel that I have met the moving company worth my money and time. They gave me an amazing moving experience this summer, and I am sure I will pick them the next time I need to move or store some belongings.

A good experience

This was a good experience. They arrived on time and ready to work, and work they did. Boy oh boy do we have a lot of stuff, and they took care of it all without a single complaint, or even break that I saw. They definitely get an A for effort and A for a job well done too.

Extremely helpful

When we hired I deal moving to help us, it was under the impression that it would be a slight pain but that overall it would make out lives easier during the move, since we wouldn't have to do the heavy lifting for ourselves. What we didn't realize however, was just how much it would actually help us out overall. After calling and scheduling the move data, they mentioned that they also offer a packing service, by way of various kits with all the materials needed to pack up your home. This I found to be extremely helpful, as I didn't half to buy individual boxes, or run all over town for proper installation for valuables, etc. Instead everything we needed was delivered to our door. Additionally the guys who came to help us actually move all of our belongings were fantastic. They got everything moved so quickly I had time to spare at the end of the day to actually start unpacking. Overall this was a great company, I'm glad we chose them. I cannot thank them enough for their help and services.

Very courteous and respectful

I've heard good things before about this moving company, so I decided to give them a try myself. Pretty much all the reviews are accurate, though for me they did arrive about an hour later than I expected. To their credit however, they did call me ahead of time to let me know of the circumstance. I understand that things take longer than expected on occasion, I also understand that there's traffic sometimes that we don't expect either, so this wasn't a big deal to me. It would have been an issue had they just not showing up on time and not called, however they were very courteous and respectful of my time. So, I still have no issue giving them a full five star rating.

A lovely experience

I think if I ever move again, this is the company that all use. I don't ever plan on moving out of New York, but I can definitely see myself moving to a nicer apartment someday. Maybe even a condo. That's beside the point though, what I'm really trying to say is I used this company last week to move into the place I'm at now and it was a lovely experience.

Easiest move

By using a deal moving and storage, I set myself up for the easiest move my life. If you haven't use them already, they are definitely the company that I recommend you try.

Ideal moving is my ideal choice for professional movers. They definitely got their name right. Each experience I've had with them has earned them a solid five stars, and this one was absolutely no different.

A good moving company

This company is everything a good moving company should be. I don't care if you're moving somewhere in state (in NY of course), out of state or even need to relocate your business. This is the company you should go with hands down!

Absolutely fabulous

I love Manhattan, but moving when you live here is arguably the worst experience I've ever had. There are too many people to effectively move large pieces of furniture and boxes in and out of a building without bumping into someone at least five times, not to mention the stairways are extraordinarily small most of the time and in general there is physically no place to park a moving truck in from of your place unless you're willing to block the street or take up a huge chunk of the sidewalk (which as we know, police usually frown upon). This is why, in my opinion, hiring movers is a must. I will never attempt a move on my own again while living here. That said, this is my second time using Ideal Moving. The first time they were awesome (clearly or I wouldn't have hired them again), and this time was no different except for that I don't plan to move again for a long while, so I'm writing a review to show my appreciation instead. They are absolutely fabulous. You don't have to do almost anything and they deal with all the issues of a move in Manhattan for you!

Overall excellent service

I don't think this move could have been any easier. I'm talking I literally had to call and schedule a time for them to come, and they took everything (save my phone, purse and laptop which I was using during the move) out of my apartment for me. I didn't break a nail, let alone a sweat. And the same went for moving into my places as well. Now if only I could afford someone to unpack all my stuff for me to that would make my life complete. No complaint! Overall EXCELLENT service!

Excellent

The two movers who provided service for me were beyond excellent. I had multiple workers in my home simultaneously and they were able to take general direction and work independently. I have seldom had service providers who had both such a great work ethic and a fabulous attitude. I can't say enough good things about these guys. They made a difficult day much better, and I will use Ideal moving again at my first opportunity. FABULOUS!

Irresponsible "Darlings"

I gave them one because zero was not an option. I choose this company to support the gay community and they are a shame to the good gay business who are professional and have the integrity they are lacking. I will not recommended to anybody, they are not reliable and did not deliver.
