Fraudulent Liars

DO NOT USE.Original price quote was $1,674 for a one bedroom apartment with 286 cu ft. Price actually charged at time of pick up on June 30th was $1,675 based on 300 cu. ft. + $150 in parking materials (even though it says they are free on the form), for a total of $1,825. July 3rd I received a call from Lupe stated the foreman "was confused" and "made a mistake" and they were sending me an "updated" invoice reflecting 450 cu. ft. and a new total bill of $2,299.88.After calls back and forth for a week with no resolve, I was told Lupe no longer worked there and got no clarification on the updated charges. When I called back again last week, Lupe answered the phone!! I also got put though to a company called Major League Van Lines. When I asked about this, the customer service rep told me National is a BROKER contrary to the lies the sales rep Justin was telling me about National being a "family owned, non-broker company." My first day for available delivery was July 13th. I was told at first that my items would be delivered Aug. 4-5th (22 days after my first available). No truck. I was then told I could expect the driver August 7-8th. No truck arrived. As of August 10th, I still don't have my stuff and I have no confirmation of when the truck will arrive. They have been in possession of my stuff for 45 days, and are 29 days past my "first available for delivery date." *UPDATE* I received a nasty phone call from "Stan" the owner, STANISLAV SKRIBNIK. Today he claimed that he will be sending me an "updated invoice" for $800+ that would need to be paid in cash upon delivery of my items. My binding Bill of Lading contract claims that I owe $469. If that's not extortion, I don't know what is. This company is a sham. Also doing business in other states under different names to run from bad reviews and the state of WA (under the name Liberty Relocation) denying them a business license because of FRAUD!! Terrible moving experience

This was a terrible moving experience. They charged me almost twice the quoted price. They messed up the delivery date costing me to take a day off work and move in a week earlier. There customer service was terrible. I would have preferred to move myself than use this company.

I would never recommend this company ...

It was actually very bad, unfortunately. When they were loading in it was all nice, but when they came here, they were demanding for extra money, extra tips. They didn't unpack anything, they didn't not place anything... they didn't even unwrap anything, basically. But more than anything, they lost a few items and I never got anything. They lost my TV stand which means I can't use my TV now. They lost an entire box of things and I have no way to retrieve it. There's been no response to repeated emails and overall a bad, bad experience and I would never recommend this company to anyone.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVE!!! BEWARE....Before you decide on a mover, please do research that I did not do and save yourself a lot of headaches and disappointment and money. First off they will give you this line of BS: We have been in business for 18 years and have an A+ rating with the BBB. We are proud to have NO complaints registered with the BBB. Our quotes are BINDING quotes which means there are no moving day surprises. We have an impeccable DOT credentials. As for the BBB, they are not accredited by the BBB. You cannot review the company if you have put in a complaint, once the company "responds" - the complaint is taken off. TRUST ME - this line of crap you should take with a grain of salt. The DOT doesn't take delivery/billing/ethical complaints. It is in regards to their trucks, accidents, drivers, hazard products, etc. So again that is something that should be taken with a gain of salt - it is unimportant to most people. What most people care about it 1. Having your stuff pickup on as promised. 2. Having your stuff delivered as promised (on time, in great condition, etc.). 3. charged what was promised The BINDING quotes is a line of BS. That only works for adjusting the amount DOWN. Not adjusting it UP because they didn't put in the right amount/description of your furniture. In that case, trust me - they can tell you they aren't taking said furniture without you paying $X more. But if you decide you don't want to take something, and you didn't tell them 24 hours in advance then they wont take that item off. So in my case, they charged me for a patio sofa because I had a sectional that was in individual pieces that could be stacked on top of one another. Luke the guy that did the quote put in patio sofa. Once they got to my house and said it was bigger than what they counted as a couch and said I have to pay $574 more to move the sectional. I said no I would just sell it, but that I wanted them to take off the "sofa" they charged me for on my quote, they said no - they have binding quotes that cant be changed. But you can change it to charge me $574. That isn't a binding contract. They will tell you they will they have a 3 day pickup window and a 3 day delivery window. WRONG AGAIN. The delivery window is basically whenever they want it to be. The fine print will tell you they have 2-21 days from the date you give them that you want it. REALLY? So I can tell you I want my stuff on the 2nd of the month and I can have it delivered the following month of when I really wanted it because that 2-21 is BUSINESS days - so dont count the weekends. And forget what they tell you when they get you to sign and book them. Because I have learned they just outright LIE to you on the phone to get your business. And don't expect to talk to a manager or anyone of any importance because they will never give you over to anyone. They apologize for your inconcenience and DO NOTHING. They have your money and your

Horrible Experience with National ...

Moves are stressful-hiring a company to help with that stress should make it easier. At first it seemed as though National Moving systems seemed very professional/kind. Our initial contact, Frank was very accommodating...until the move actually happened. Upon pick up of our items the company gave us a 20 minute notice, in Denver, during rush hour traffic. Since we were unable to make it we had a friend help us out. The guys who loaded up our items did a great job packing our items and both they and Frank Confirmed our items would be delivered within 7-10 days. You can imagine our surprise when we were told our items were sitting in storage. Upon taking it up the "food chain" to Luke he assured us our stuff would be delivered within the next week. You can imagine our surprise again when hat didn't happen, and we were told it was another week or so out. I understand delays happen. My issue is the over promising, under delivering. When I made Luke aware of how upset/concerned I was with his communication, he handled it very unprofessionally. At one point Frank offered to step up and deliver our items himself (which he back tracked on because he doesn't have a commercial drivers license) he then asked if they could do ANYTHING else for us and to tell us what we want- we wanted a discount- he said that would not be possible that all he could do would be to deliver our items sooner, which he then stated they could not In addition, they never sent us a contract, an itemized list of our items or made us aware of additional fees for delivery (if the driver had to walk further than 75 feet). Finally, our stuff arrived (with items broken and missing) and I have yet to hear back from this company as to where my stuff is. I promised to update other reviews if they did right by me, and although they promised they would, we have still not heard where my items are almost a week later. All I have heard is that my initial contact would like to "sue" me for my negative reviews, which just puts the cherry on top for me. Being a Colorado native I was excited to work with this Denver based company. Unfortunately I have never been more disappointed and appalled in my life. Shame on this company for being unprofessional, unreliable, unhelpful, unethical, and shady. If you want your items lost, broken, and then want to be threatened with a lawsuit on top of it...definitely use this company, otherwise save your time, energy, and money.

Bait and Switch

!st internet bid was $3800 for a 3 BR house =$750 down payment by credit card. 2nd bid was raised to $6600 after phone call listing all item to go and added $400 more to down payment. When they show up for pickup to price raised to $8800 on the day of move. Had lots of help. You either pay it or don't move. Said I should have had someone come to the house to evaluate. This was never offered during all negotiations. Could pay by check Approx. $3300. They loaded in rental trucks and left. Pretty rough with the fragile marked boxes. Arrived in a Penske rental truck and trailer with 2 guys 6 hours late. Tried to extort more money because I had 12 step stairway which I had stated in the 1st and 2nd reviews. This I refused to pay but had to give them $3300 in cash before they would unload. Unloading went well but with 2 guys it was long. They finally left at 8:30 pm Glad to get rid of National Moving and storage. Found scuffs on furniture finishes, broken lights and broken glass table top. If you value your stuff get a good mover and ask for an in house evaluation and a firm estimate. You'll sleep better
