Scam artists!!!

By far the worst move I've ever experienced. I was overcharged $72 on the move (They sent me a printed quote for $435 for 3 men for 3 hours minimum. My move was 2.5 hours and yet I was charged $507 in addition the the $50 down payment that was supposed to go toward the $435 minimum. ) My move was scheduled for 10-2pm. They arrived at 3:45pm. I was told they had "two Christies" booked that day and they accidentally gave me the wrong time frame. They quoted me EIGHT HOURS when they got there to move up one floor in my building. I was moving out of an apartment directly in front of the elevator,up ONE floor and down the hall. Zero stairs,and they never had to even leave the building. They walked around my old apartment then made jokes and laughed amongst themselves talking in Spanish as they walked down the hall to my new apartment behind me. I asked what was so funny and they told me I was moving far from the elevator. I thought they were kidding with me. They were not. I asked if they had dollies and they said they did but it was still a long walk for them. Again I thought they were kidding as we'd been taking trips and taking turns taking care of our 1 year old twin babies while we waited all day for them. They weren't kidding. The Comcast guy was there while this conversation was going on and just shook his head. He also made a comment about how they were taking advantage of us. It was so late in the day we couldn't hire another company and we had to return keys the next day. We were stuck. The manager called me to discuss my concerns and to apologize for the movers behavior. We agreed to check in after two hours and take it from there. What do you know,all my stuff that needed to go was done in 2.5 hours. I was finding stuff for them to do to fill up the full 3 hours I knew they had to charge me for. One of the guys was constantly on his phone,and another was walking around the building with music blasting from his phone,not using headphones. I'm sure my neighbors loved that. During the move they dropped the top of my vanity,shattering my vanity mirror sending glass all over the floor of my new place where my kids were playing. Great. They said customer care would take care of us and replace it. They did not. At the end of the move after they overcharged,after I stupidly tipped them because moving is hard even if it's what you do for a living - they presented me with a blank contact to sign. Said they would fill it in later. Um,no thank you. One of the lines said they didn't damage my stuff. We went back and forth and finally agreed I wouldn't sign that line. The next day,I seen that not only did they shatter and destroy my vanity,they scratched up the front of BOTH of my cribs that were in perfect condition at the start of the move and had ripped the leg out of the side of my dresser. All Was Good...

They were helpful and they picked up all the furniture and everything they had it in their warehouse for about a month and they delivered the way it was. Very professional, everything was good, no complaints. Whatever the quote was initially, everything was done in that amount. Read more

They were great, they were in and out pretty quickly. But upon arrival they did break a couple items. The timing was great, they also reimbursed me for the items that were broken. Read more

They were superb. Since I've been unpacking and everything they lost some things, but everything else was fine. they're taking care of it and sending me some new parts for my TV. The pricing was a lot lower than the other companies. Read more

They were great on the pick-up end. They had like 5 or 6 guys packing up our home. I felt like they did almost everything they said they would. I was a little disappointed though. They said that Spartan would take us the whole move and it was not a Spartan truck that transported our belongings. And we had a lot of stuff get broken so that was a little bit frustrating. I don't think they were as gentle with the boxes I packed myself. But everyone was very nice to work with so there was good and bad. Read more
