Do Not use this company under any circumstances. The "salesmen" on teh telephone Anthony is very good at his job and knows how to make a person feel secure in their choice of The Movers Group, however, thats as far as it goes. THEY ARE CROOKS! I assisted the movers in packing 3 very valuable antique lamps into one big box that I supplied. During the packing of this box, 2 of the movers expressed to me how much they admired one of the lamps. I then, stupidly told them it had been in the family for many years and was a valuable antique. I watched the box containing 3 lamps being sealed and leaving on a wheeled cart from the apartment in NYC. Upon delivery of furniture at destination in Florida, only 2 lamps were delivered in 2 separate boxes. When I asked the foreman where the 3rd lamp was, he stated "I think it broke in New York". Needless to say, only 2 of the 3 lamps were delivered and the 2 lamps that were delivered were delivered in 2 separate boxes instead of the originally packed box that contained all 3 lamps. This leads me to believe that the original box with 3 lamps was opened, the lamp that has never arrived was stolen and the remaining 2 lamps were repacked in 2 separate boxes. After numerous telephone messages left unanswered, I realized that I had been taken and cannot believe that they actually get away with stealing the posessions of people that pay them for services. They should be forced out of business. Totally crooked with no reproach.

This Moving Company Saved my Family ...

On Friday, March 23rd 2012 I was moving from one apartment to another within Lake Mary, Florida. I set up a move with a comnpany called Nice Guys. Nice Guys were suppose to arrive between the hours of 11am - 1pm. They did not arrive until 4:30pm and upon arrival the contract presented was not what was agreed upon. They started adding many other prices to the move causing the the total to continously rise with great concern. They also stated the move with not be completed until 8:30-9pm in the evening. What a Nightmare!!!! I politely asked them to leave despite the situation it left me in.I had to be out of the apartment by 10am the folowing day. I and my wife immediately started scrambling to try and find another moving company. At 5:30pm and at our wits end we stumbled upon The Movers. The gentlemen who answered the phone kindly listened to our dilemma and ensured us that his men with a truck will be out to my apartment between 8am-10am and they did not take advantage of the situation. The Moving truck arrived at my apartment complex at exactly at 9am. The two men (Tate and Kevin) who came to my house and moved my family's personal items were both extremely professional and well mannered. They went out of their way to ensure everything went smoothly and according to plan. Upon arrival they informed me the best and quckest way to perform the move and executed the plan very well. I am extremely satisfied and have told my family and friends. Thank You so much!!
