Hello, and thank you for visiting Movers.com!

If you are planning to ship your motorcycle overseas to the Phillipines, you will have to properly prepare the bike for shipping and find professional movers to transport it for you.

Preparing the motorcycle for the move

To ensure your bike makes its trip safely and arrives without any damage, there are several preventative measures you must take before shipping. These include:

  • Remove the battery
  • Empty the gas tank and drain all fluids
  • Secure all loose parts
  • Photograph the motorcycle and the shipping crate for proof oftheir conditions before shipping
  • Lower the tire pressure
  • Check for leaks
Ask the motorcycle shipper you choose for hire if there are any other preparations they require before they will transport your bike.

Finding overseas motorcycle movers

If you are moving, the international moving company you have contracted may be able to arrange motorcycle shipping services for you. If you are solely shipping the motorcycle, you may require the services of motorcycle movers.

No matter the company you choose, make sure to do a thorough background check to determine that the company is reputable and licensed. You can start comparing quotes today at Movers.com--fill out our fast and easy quote form to receive up to seven FREE, no-obligation estimates today!
