It was fine

Crew members were good, they were pretty nice. The only thing was that the moving was slower than we expected. We were thinking it would take around 3-4 hours but it toook 6 hours. One person was really fast but the other one was really slow. Read more

Wonderful

They came on time, they waited, I couldn't open the lock so they waited. They had a small truck so they did it twice, no complaints, the didn't break anything, everything was just perfect. No problems at all, I've already recommended them to some people I know. Read more

I was not pleased with the service.

So the woman who answered the phone was very nice, very friendly. She seemed like she had her act together. Then the week before the move, I got a phone call that they're running late. They asked if they could pick stuff up later than expected. And I said sure, that's no problem. Because the settlement is a little bit later, so that worked out fine. But the problem was then I got another phone call that said: Yeah, they're running late. They'll be there as soon as they can. And I said, what are you talking about? They were going to get there a week early. So they didn't have the timing right. So there was that, now I was worried about that. But that was okay, we figured it out. It was fine. That was no big deal. So the day of comes, they were arrive - very friendly, very nice. Extremely slow. I spent $800. Everything was already packed up in the storage facility. The other wasn't, so I was okay that it was slower at the house. But it took forever. One guy literally stood there the whole time... getting on his phone, trying to go to smoke a cigarette. At one point, they asked me to go do a lunch run for them. Which I did, I was fine doing that, because that was going to get them to go. That was fine. And they were just so slow. It took 8 hours. The price was a little high but it was ...

It was a little bit on the higher side. It was okay because I did three - this was my fourth move in the last ten years. Whenever I've compromised on price, I've seen bad. By the evening when I reached the home, when they delivered the stuff - I remember there was one mover pretty much threw my sofa. Whenever they started working they had it until the end. They made sure everything was fine. Some things cost. And you can't expected them to work better, right? Read more

I would recommend them--they worked ...

They were very accommodating. I didn't think that we would need them for two days but they actually spent a little extra time with me moving cause they had promised two 26-foot trucks but the day that we moved he couldn't get the second 26-foot truck, he had a smaller second truck. So it was fine. He said that we could just use them the next day as well. So we had six men and two trucks that first day and then one truck with three men the next day. Read more

No hassle no hussle no worry and very ...

Put it this way... I liked the guys so much that I paid $50 extra and bought them Chinese after the move was completed!! I have hired them 3 years ago on the flat rate basis. I told the manager/owner of the company (Mr. Haughton) that no hidden fee like gas, truck, toll, extra hours. He gave me a very acceptable rate and that's it! Absolutely no worries afterwards. They were very pleasant, nice, careful and hard working people whom I called in my next move 3 years later and planning to call again in my next move. I did a lot of research on movers and they sure were the BEST. This is where my search stopped. Read more

Pleasant crew and efficient service

The people who did the actual move were very pleasant and very efficient. They were on-time and professional. Their pricing was good - better than other companies - and I would recommend them. Just one caution for future customers - a few were very nice when we talked to them on the phone but we talked to them multiple times before our move and were told that there were certain charges - that the charges would be a certain way because they were coming from a distance to do the move. Then, right at the end, they said there is going to be an added charge for the distance. We had made an effort to talk about that specifically, whether there is an added charge, but anyway, we had to negotiate and they were fine. They satisfied us but it is something that people should be aware of. My advice to the moving company is just to be upfront with their cost as much as possible. They were very nice and we had good experience with them. We just didn't like the one issue about the price-changing. Several people we had talked to beforehand had one thing and then at the end it was something different from the owner of the company. He worked with us and it was fine. We didn't leave unhappy. They were helpful. I would say they were on-time, prompt, and they were polite. They were concerned with what they were moving. Their prices were average, and they were able to complete the task that I asked for. I was moving the furniture from one room to another room, which wasn't a home-to-home move, and they were able to complete my move. I would say I was satisfied with their service. Read more
