Completely Unethical - Stay FAR Away!

This company is unethical, lack any integrity, and should be called "the slower we move, the more money we make movers". After calling over a dozen moving companies, we chose All My Sons because they seemed honest and told us it would be no problem to move our plug-in portable hot tub that weighs less than 250 pounds. They said they do it all the time. When we were called 2 days before our move to confirm details, the scheduler told us that they would not touch our hot tub. We spoke with management, who confirmed that they would not move our hot tub. We were flabergasted and now had to scramble to figure out how to move our hot-tub with less than two days to work with. Several other local moving companies said they could help us, that plug-in hot tubs are no big deal, but they were completely booked. We were stuck with no options because of the short notice and the schedule with closing dates on the houses we were buying and selling were inflexible. We ended up paying an astronomical amount to have our hot tub moved by a local handy-man company. We paid for 4 movers as we thought this would be more cost-effective as they would get the job done faster than 2 movers. However, after said and done, we feel that we really paid for 1 to 1.5 movers, as 3 of the workers hardly did any work. My wife and I could have loaded that truck 4 times as fast as the 4 guys that showed up. 1 of the movers seemed totally high, spent 4 - 30 min sessions in our bathroom doing who knows what, and took 5 smoke breaks in the first hour and a half. The manager of the bunch seemed to know what he was doing but he spent the entire time in the truck directing the crew and didn't actually move anything. The other 2 guys were nice but walked so slow and would disappear in the house for exceptionally long periods of time, only to appear carrying 1 box out 15-20 mins later. We just couldn't figure out what everyone was doing with their time. It was so frustrating. I really think they are trained to drag their feet and work as slow as possible as that brings in more money for them. We were not told that we would be charged for plastic wrap. They spent so much time wrapping stuff that really didn't need to be wrapped. We tried to tell them "oh you don't need to wrap that" and even a little firmer sometimes "please do not wrap that" but they just kept using that stuff excessively. They would put like 7 layers on some items!!! What in the world?! When the house we were moving from was FINALLY empty, we went around and picked up multiple shrink wrap containers that still had a lot of plastic left on them. They left them all over the house and it was so apparent that they were thoughtless and excessive with the materials. Another money maker for the company - use as much of that stuff as possible, because they will charge you for all of it. So maddening. When it was time to drive to the new house, the moving crew went AWOL. I drove my car to the house, it took me 32 minutes
