These people are thieves! They lied about the amount and size of my boxes and totes! They stole my new singer sewing machine and my grandmothers vintage sewing machine,they took my Samsung monitor,my 3goot tall reindeer’s given to me by my dead mother! On top of that took my box of silverware I am assuming that they thought it was sterling! Also broke a well wrapped Armani signed piece and a 1940’s dogwood vase! All my remotes and my Alexa! Not just Scam, they steal and destroy ...

Moved from MA to TX. They picked up and did not deliver for 2 months. Very rude when we called, did not give any details. They forced me to tip $300, otherwise they would charge more for packing(i already packed everything myself). Came with a dumptruck after 2 months, saying everything got damaged in Huricane. I lost $30k worth of household and so much memories. If they have not delayed way beyond their contract, no hurricane would have hit. They collected $11.5k for destroying my stuff. They also knowingly drove the dump truck to TX to only collect the remaining $4.2k.. they demanded cash before they open the truck doors .. Everything was rotten with mold and 100% damaged. Scam Artist

They are scam artist. They demanded cash. They lost 15 boxes and would not give us their insurance company. The driver told my wife it was illegal to write on the bill of lading. They hold your cargo hostage until you pay the way above never agreed on price! SCAM ARTIST. BBB rating is an F for a reason! Read more

Mega Van Lines / Golden Van Line DO ...

We contacted Mega Van Lines and were given a quote and a specific date of when our items would be picked up and a specific date of when we would receive our items at the new location not to mention the the low quote on what this would cost us. We were NOT told Mega Van Lines was not the company moving our belongings and that they were only a booking agent. They booked the move with Golden Van Line and we had no knowledge of this beforehand. We ended up paying over $7000 more for the move and waited almost 30 days for our items to arrive. Our belongings were picked up on Sept 23rd and the arrival date was to be Oct 2nd according to Mega Van Line and we did not receive our belongings until Oct 24. I called Golden Van Line several times before I got someone on the phone. When I finally did get a hold of someone I could not get a straight answer as to why our belongings were not here and why they were holding onto them. Once they arrived several of the boxes were soaked through(completely wet) with no explanation as to why they would be soaked. A very large and expensive book case was damaged and several other items broken. It looked like a our belongings went through a major storm they were so damaged and smashed. I have yet to put in a claim for the broken and damaged items but from what I am reading in other reviews it looks like I may have a hard time getting any compensation from this company. SCAMMERS,DO NOT USE

I would not wish dealing with this company on my worst enemy. These people are awful thieves. Movers showed up over a day late to my move in DC. Then demanded $800 in cash to put my items on the truck. I had a flight back to Chicago the next day and was told I would lost my $500 deposit if I refused. So was really in a hard spot and relented. I could not get in touch with anyone at the office to address this demand and solely had to deal with the movers. After all that,my items arrived in Chicago late. The owner said that he would look into getting me a refund for the $800 but never did. I was overcharged at delivery again. Finally the owner said he would mail me back $200,which is better than nothing,but not my full losses. BUT THE CHECK NEVER CAME AS PROMISED. This company is trash.
