I will always use this moving company for my moves because they have moved me recently so smoothly and nicely that I feel like moving again! This is the first time in my life that a move went the way I wanted! These guys are very efficient, professional and they do what you say! They moved all my things with care and they did not damage any of my furniture or even the new floors! They are very experienced and caring! I will suggest them to all and I will hire Maya van lines again.

They solved my biggest worry

I was devastated because my wife and I have many things which are priceless. We needed to move and we had to get the best moving company there is. We heard many good things about Maya van lines from a friend and we went with them right away. They sent a very qualified and efficient crew who packed everything with care and used many layers of protection. We felt a little relieved because they moved everything professionally and carefully. Awesome work

I like to do my own work. But unfortunately this time I was ill and had to hire professional help. I spent many hours surfing the net looking for the best match and called several companies for a quote and finally chose Maya van lines. They were great! They arrived on time with all necessary tools and immediately began the work. They were so organized that I never felt able to monitor them. They finished the job within the given time and when I checked the inventory, all was there safe and sound. They did well. I highly recommend them!

2nd time with these guys

This is the second time that I have used Maya van lines to move and they were excellent both times. Their team was polite, professional, and efficient. They moved all my stuff, including heavy living room furniture without making a single scratch or a dent. When I moved to my new place, I could not decide how I wanted my bedroom furniture, so they moved heavy dressers many times without complaining, and even gave me some great suggestions on how to fit everything in. After they moved me in, I checked the furniture and everything was great, in perfect condition. When I had to pay for it, there were no hidden costs or fees, but I knew in advance how much I would pay! Great company to work with!

I'm glad I chose them!

We moved our 5 bedroom house with Maya van lines and they were able to pick us up on their way back. We were fully expecting a different company to show up on the day of the move, but sure enough, when the truck showed up on our first preferred pick-up day, it said Maya van lines on the side, and I knew we could trust them with our treasured belongings. Best experience

The team at Maya van lines was great. From initial conversations through to the actual move date they kept in touch and made sure everything was still being checked over. The team they found for us came over early to pre-pack as much as possible and the packing on the day only took about 90 minutes. They were polite, looked after the property, on time, and were very helpful. Unpacking on the other side was just as good, nothing was damaged, everything was put where we asked and they cleaned up after themselves. I'd highly recommend these guys to anyone who wants a stress-free and perfectly organized move. The price was also great value, really impressive.

I have moved many times,and the Maya team were by far the best. The Maya team packed and moved us to our new home. From the beginning to end the entire team was professional and easy to communicate with. Not completely satisfied

This is my first moving experience, so I would rank them... not completely satisfied, but at the same time I can't blame Maya Van Lines for this because it's the third party driver.

Best Moving Experience I've Ever Had!

Maya Van Lines was the fastest most efficient moving company I have ever used! The employees were friendly, work driven and moved my entire house in less time than it took to pack it! The employees were professional and treated my things as their own! They came ready to work and took special care to wrap and place my items so that they made it during the long trip to the new house! I have already hired them again to move my mother's items next month! Thank you so much to Lisa for your help and I will definitely recommend them to anyone I know moving!

Smooth move with Maya

My psychotherapist wife retired, and Maya moved all of her stuff from her office to our home, where she will continue to see a few clients. The three Maya guys were prompt, strong, fast, polite, and obviously very experienced. Highest recommendation!

Yeah it was pretty good, I am very satisfied. They were on time and they were uh, at the destination they will call me if it will take some more time. They will schedule a better date. everything is fine I have no issues with the delivery They were on time they were good with the people and the packages nothing was missed so everything looks good.

The first thing we liked was that it was a very quick delivery it only took 10 days from here to Atlanta. The guy who drove the truck was very helpful. everything went so smooth so we liked it.

It was a lot of damage so I sent an email and I have to see how we can get rid of that. Then from the price, also it was very high. They came here and increased the price so the satisfaction was not that good, it was OK. I have sent email to them for the invoice so I can do the claim. For the damage part also, the driver has done the inspection and he has created the form and he told us he would give it to the company, and that company, I sent email but I don't see a response so far.

Great Moving Experience

Our move from Georgia to North Carolina was not an experience we looked forward to but Maya really made it as pleasant as it possibly could have been. Leo was clear about what would be included in the estimate and this proved to be true - honesty much appreciated. We were storing some items and moving others to an apt. so this complicated things a bit but the crew handled this wonderfuly. The packed one day, drove that night and we were moved in the next day by 2 PM! Raymond was a great crew leader and the crews - both NC and GA were great. The packing that they did was very professional. No broken or damaged items that we know of and don't expect to find any. I would highly recommend their services. Everything went so well. These guys really exceeded my expectations. We move my mom to California recently with Maya Van Lines. Their customer service was incredible and it really felt like they cared about our move, which is more than I can say for other companies. We had a walk through with Leo, Raphael was our coordinator, Ray and his crew were fantastic and Sean and his team at the final delivery in Los Angeles. Awful, Unprofessional

We hired Maya Van Lines to coordinate our move from Atlanta to Iowa. We contacted them in May 2016 to move in June 2016. We were moving an 8,500 sq ft residence and a family of 7, 950 miles. First, we are experienced movers, moving every 3-4 years. I have NEVER experienced such an uncoordinated, unprofessional move. The estimation process was fine. Raphael assured me they could handle a move of this size and distance. Leo assured me of their professionalism and accuracy of their estimates etc. The first issue occurred when Leo contacted me to move 8 days prior to what we had agreed upon. When I couldn't accommodate this, my move unraveled. The packing was unprofessional with many boxes unlabeled or mislabeled, breakable items packed with heavy ones, all my furniture was disassembled (some of it was not able to be reassembled), Too much damage and breakable to list. Packing estimate was off. It took an extra 8 hours (we would have missed our flight), they wanted to leave items at our house in ATL when they wouldn't fit on the truck. We were told our belongings would be packed onto the semi-truck and driven straight to Iowa. Our items were put in a warehouse in ATL for 2 days before being shipped in 2 semitrailers arriving 4 days after packing completed and 6 days after completion. Iowa moving crews were not professionals but men who appeared down on their luck and homeless. Second truck was not even driven by Maya employees but outsourced to guys from Miami who appeared to be in Eastern European mafia and threatened to dump my stuff in the driveway (not even bring it into the house) and said they would not assemble anything (remember, packers took the legs, arms, table tops, everything apart). Lost screws, stripped holes, broken furniture, pictures, ceramics etc. My kitchen table laid on the kitchen floor for 2 days disassembled. Leo does not remember conversations, so I recommend recording everything and confirming in writing. Raphael over promises and under-delivers on every aspect. I found out afterwards they had never done a move of this size/distance. This was by far the most stressful, damaging, poorly managed move that I still PAID FULL PRICE FOR!!!! They were really helpful and ...

They were really helpful, I didn't have a lot of stuff to move like most people so they were willing to give me a pretty good rate. I've had some hiccups in my trip and they've been accommodating so yeah, I'd recommend them.

I was very pleased with them.

The experience was very good. I had a special trip that needed some planning ahead of time, they showed up early to load and were very careful with everything that they did. There was good communication as they traveled and they did the move in one day, I was very pleased with them.

Very Disappointed

I'm very disappointed in Maya Van Lines and I do not recommend them for long distance moves. First of all, they give you a price quote over the phone rather than coming in person to see the items you will be moving. As a result, me final price was over $1000 more than quoted. To add insult to injury, they hired some day labourers to deliver my stuff. Seriously, it was a guy in a rented truck who picked up two guys to help him unload. When I hired Maya, I specifically asked if Maya employees would handle my things on both ends and was assured that it would be Maya staff. That was a lie! The guys who delivered my furniture refused to put it back together upon delivery. He said "It's too many pieces". So I alone was left to put together my bed, dresser mirror, coffee table, etc. Maya took it all apart, but the guys they sent to deliver it would not put it back together! The guy who rented the truck asked me to give him all gratuity, rather than give it to each guy. Talk about unprofessional... Lastly, no one from Maya ever called to ask me how the move went. Once they got their money - including the extra $1120. - they were gone. BEWARE of this company!

They deserve my admiration

I don’t have the best of experiences when it comes to moving companies. Maya van lines changed all that. Since the moment I called them the first time, they have been nothing but professional. Everything went systematically: from getting a quick quote to the timely arrival of the movers. All four men were mighty strong and they carried giant pieces of furniture as if they weighed nothing. Everything was boxed properly and traveled excellently due to that. I really couldn’t fault the company at any stage.

True professionals

Many companies only claim to be professional. Maya van lines actually is! Their quote seemed reasonable for my move to Montgomery, AL from Augusta, GA. The four movers arrived right on the clock. They were well equipped and they packed all my valuables within just 40 minutes. The loading process took less than an hour. They charged me for exactly an hour and forty minutes! They delivered everything on time and our valuables traveled very well. Do yourself a favor and hire these guys for your next move.

Very happy

This review is well overdue given how fantastic Maya van lines was while they handled my last move in July. But I think their work is the proof of their efficiency, not my words. Everything about them was professional. The movers arrived on time. They were so efficient and creative when they packed and loaded my valuables. It was really a team effort by these capable movers to successfully deliver all our belongings on time and in great condition. They made my moving experience as easy as possible.

Never seen more efficient movers

Maya van lines made our move from Atlanta to Detroit so easy. This is not a good time to be moving to Detroit but that’s just my luck. Luckily, the movers from Maya van lines at least saved me from some stresses. They showed up on time. They quickly packed all my belongings and loaded them onto the van. The delivery was made the next day. The whole move was done in such a systematic way. The movers were organized in every step of the way. I have only found memories of them.

Best mover I ever used

I found Maya van lines to be extremely professional. They were very cautious with all our valuable possessions and amazingly efficient. In comparison to the competitors, they are great value for money. The way they served our move, there was a great balance of professionalism and friendliness throughout the whole process. Every single item was individually wrapped and protected with good protective kits they brought with them and on the delivery they reassembled all our dismantled items. They are simply the best movers we have ever used.

We are very pleased

Brilliant service by Maya van lines! We requested for a personalized quote and their sales agent Leo came over to do a survey to understand what was required. We opted for the full service, which included packing and all packing materials. Most of the packing was done the day before. The next day they dismantled the large and heavy furniture and loaded with care and precision onto the truck. The delivery was made before the schedule time and not a single scratch on any of our belongings. The quality of work, communication and customer service was top notch. It would be our pleasure to recommend them.

The crews from maya van lines arrived promptly at 8am as discussed at the time of the survey. On the move day they send 3 movers who were sufficient for our 2 bed small flat and amount of stuff to be moved. I was moving from Atlanta, GA to New York, NY. All the crew were very helpful and courteous and highly skilled. They know their job very well and I didn’t have to instruct them at all, which was very relaxing. They whole move was done without any trouble. I was very impressed with the service and also very reasonably priced.
