Don't hire Pete's Ultimate Movers unless you want to spend hundreds of dollars on learning how to get scammed or scam other people. The worst part is that the owner Petersonn Suffrena Sr. (Pete Suffrena) concocts his ploy from the beginning of the sales cycle. He lies about their services and pricing to get you to commit,and then he upcharges you on the day of the move with random stuff and changes the terms. He even lies in person and says he is not Pete and has a different name. C'mon bro... this is the 21st century. Try something new. I've got all your pictures and records pulled up on the Internet. Pete Suffrena is a smart man though. Scammers tend to be highly intelligent. Why else would I fall for such a trick? He tries to document everything via text and email,and sends all customers a contract to sign up front. I don't even know where to begin with this fraudulent company that operates as "movers." First,the company changed the scheduled moving day on me. They were not flexible at all. I had to scramble like crazy to accommodate them. They were extremely pushy via text and on the phone. See attached photo. A friend of mine whom hired Pete's Ultimate Moving told me owner Pete Suffrena really hopes that you can't make the new day so they can charge you the deposit without doing any work. I paid these guys for six hours. They slacked off in their truck while my mother-in-law and I did the packing and heavy work. On top of that,one of the workers took a nasty shit in our bathroom,and it stunk up our entire apartment. He didn't bother to flush the toilet. My mother-in-law almost passed out because of the putrid smell. I tried to take a picture of his crap,but I couldn't open my eyes because the smell was so bad. I had to flush the toilet immediately. The worst part is that,since we were moving,all the cleaning supplies and air fresheners were packed up and gone. This was truly a shitty moving experience! Then,Pete's Ultimate Movers and their head honcho Peter Suffrena showed up 15 minutes late to the destination because they took the wrong route. They promised me they'd unpack,assemble and reassemble everything we had in boxes (including new ones that had never been opened),and pretty much do anything moving or unpacking related during the six hours I retained them. Instead,they refused to work,did a horrible job reassembling one of our beds,joked around in their language (I think Haitian Creole - I know French and could understand some sentences of them making fun of my mother-in-law and wife),opened up our new furniture and spread it all around our living room without assembling it,and the worst part: they quietly got into their big truck,and drove off 1 1/2 hours early with no notice or anything. They didn't say they were done. They didn't thank us. They snuck out of our home and scrammed - or should I say scammed? They took

Best movers in town! Fast and extremely reliable. When i was younger I used to move a lot and I have dealt with my fair share of moving company. Pete's was by far the best experience I have ever had. They took care of my valuables as it if was their own during the entire moving process. Great prices, efficient, and great customer service! Highly recommend to all!

Scam Artists

You LIAR'S cheated me out of money. First you give me an estimate over the phone, but when you move me you come up with a HIGHER amount and say that I didn't tell you that I was moving to the second floor. WHY would I not tell you when I knew that you would find out when you moved me? So, my almost $300 move turned into almost $800. So take me off of any list you have in your office.

Excelant company

I've found them excellent, professional and honest. They did what they were committed. I'm speechless about them. Pete's Ultimate Movers guys were excellent in their job. Thank you so much!!

Except for some issues, they were ...

Overall the move was good. The movers came on-time, they were efficient. One issue that was they left the place that we moved from and there were still things they left. There were couple of boxes that they left. We also had to clean up before we left and so there was 45 minutes gap and I had to fix all of that when the movers were waiting at the new property. Other than that it was good. Actually, the pricing estimate was good. The staff and crew members were okay and I would say they were pretty good. Yes, they were friendly and on-time. Yes, the packing was done very well. Not one thing broke, which is good. I would just say that to make sure that they communicate before they leave the old property and make sure everything is taken care before they go to new property. But, other than that it was very good.

Move spoiled by hidden charges

They sent two people for the job of three. There were lot of hidden costs especially for boxes that I no longer used. The final price was $600 more than the actual price. I refused to pay the extra.

Slow but steady wins the race

The guys were a really nice crew. They were very genuine and didn't treat us like strangers. Compared to my previous move and only half the house hold goods the move to nearly twice as long.
