BEWARE! FAILED to deliver on time and ...

Our stuff was picked up on 02/21/21 from Los Angeles, CA and should be delivered to Miami, FL by this company. The day we signed the agreement we specifically asked what is the longest delivery time frame and were told that max is 21 day. We mentioned that we need this shipment be on time because we are leaving the country in a month and need to receive everything before we leave. Supervisor said they can't promise to deliver everything fast but it should be delivered on time. A few weeks later we decided check the status of the shipment but nobody return our calls or answer emails. On 03/08/21 we called to the office again and were told that our shipment is still in Los Angeles and ETA is now on 03/21/21. Seriously??? We have flight tickets and all hotels booked (some are non-refundable) starting 03/17/21! Also we should go to the country where it's very cold right now without any winter clothes. Who's gonna receive our shipment as well?? How people should leave without any clothes/furniture for a month? This company not even failed to deliver everything on time, but they did not inform us about possible delays even when we sent them emails asking about the shipment status. If we knew about this issue a week ago we might ask another company to pick up our staff from their warehouse but they decided just not to answer. When we complained on the phone we also were told that they are working on getting a truck faster and somebody will call us in the evening to update a status. Nobody called of course. Today we called to the office again and status is still the same. They are planning to ship our boxes this weekend and it won't be delivered on time because of that. I asked for a supervisor to contact us regarding this issue. Waiting for the call now to see if they can resolve the issue. P.S. I will update this review the day I receive our shipment. BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS!

Terrible experience

I rarely review on Yelp, but I wanted to share my experience with everyone. I've done interstate moves many times before, and this move is definitely the worst. This time, I moved from California to NYC, and decided to try Trig. They promote their service/customer care is honest and fair, but I am very upset with them so far. Here are a few things that went wrong. You can be the judge as to their service. 1) Poor scheduling: Before the confirmed day of the move, Trig's representative called to confirm the pick-up time at ~5pm (I double checked this on the phone because I was on a tight schedule with my move). No one showed up at 5pm or contacted me, so I waited to 6pm and called them to check. They then told me the expected pick up time was moved to 8pm (ie the last pick-up of the day) 2) Deceptive communication: I waited until 8:15pm, then received a call from them that "there was a problem with the truck", so they wanted to change the pick-up date to two days later. I was flying out the next day, so I had to beg them to find a solution, as it was much too late for me to find another mover. They reluctantly said they will check. They then called me 2 minutes later and said they just received "last-minute cancellation" on the truck, so they could fit me in. Last-minute cancellation when I was their last shift? I suspect they just didn't want to pick up my belongings because it was past their normal shift hours (due to their own delays earlier in the day) so was finding an excuse. 3) Lost one of my items: on the delivery day, their team arrived, clearly in a rush. They dropped my stuff and didn't want to give me time to check the items. I discovered that one item (large, conspicuous luggage) was missing. The team was very impatient when I enquired about the next steps on this missing item 4) Poor service in finding my missing items: after the item went missing, Trig's customer representatives went radio silent. They wouldn't reply to my texts (I had been communicating with one of their reps via text). I received no update on progress in finding this missing item. On the second time, I called them, they even told me they didn't know an item was missing... It's been 2-3 weeks and they still haven't found my item or contacted me. I'm filing an insurance claim soon. My move was supposed to be a simple move: 20 or so boxes with some luggage and a table. My previous moves with more things (eg 2BR) went smoother than this move. What a headache.

Please RUN! Deceptive, Dishonest, Will ...

Picking a moving company is a stressful decision. Even more so when the moving company will lie repeatedly to your face until all of your stuff is nicely packed in the FIRST truck. Two weeks pass post the delivery timeline and no contact. All of a sudden, we have five hours notice that our movers will arrive, despite promising 24-hour notice. Unfortunately, the worst is yet to come. The mover refuses to wear a mask. Damaged every item of furniture that we own (shattered glass West Elm Table) ($4,000 reclining couch - broken leg and arms) ($800 wooden dresser- two broken legs) missing boxes, boxes that had been opened and resealed?!? and the worst part is, the company will call you a liar and yell at you over the phone. David Lopez openly admitted that they lie, deceive and do not have to honor their word, only what is in the contract. Please run away and never do business with Trig Moving, David Lopez or anyone part of this criminal moving company. We are also filing Small Business Claims Disputes.

Wish I could give 10 stars! We hired labor only as we needed help moving furniture up 2 flights of stairs in our new apartment! On time, professional, friendly and yes hunky guys worked quickly and carefully to get the job done! They padded the door frames and maneuvered around some pretty quirky turns with ease. Price is good and we appreciated that they were available on a holiday weekend! Will definitely use them again and highly recommend them!!

My wife and I booked with trig moving to move our belongings from CA to NJ due to a job opportunity I had. After filtering dozens of other movers, trig came out with a decent price and an excellent customer care service. We had originally booked with another company but they were a little bit unsure about the space we needed and they also refused to move our large gym equip. Trig always were more accommodating and they tried to solve all of our problems. they made sure no damage would occur while maneuvering everything with padding the walls with the blankets ( genius!) on move day and later upon arrival. I moved several times in the pas 6 years and I can tell with full heart that trig by far was the best mover I ever used. they loaded everything by size, and they welcomed me to double check the amount of the space inside the truck. We had zero issued with damages and everything arrived in a perfect condition. They guys were friendly and promp, honestly the best. I definitely recommend them and Ill definitely use them again in the future.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Although all of our items got delivered, almost EVERY PIECE OF FURNITURE, ART, AND BELONGINGS WAS DAMAGED. See a few examples below, also the attached photos . I strongly urge anyone considering Trig Moving
