Do not suggest anyone use this company. Guys that came to house were great. It's a unprofessional owner with no morals or care for customer belongings. Damages over 10k to my goods that were moved. We have a 100+ year old piano that was in perfect shape before it left our home in Florida. When it got to new home it was loaded onto a truck with no lift gate which it should have been. We didn't want it unloaded off truck with a hand truck. Owner of moving company told his crew to unload no matter what. Insta movers review DO NOT USE!! RUN RUN RUN RUN!!! So my original review was deleted apparently. I am going to be taking them to court because of the damages done to my property. I did not chose to work with this company but was more or less they were forced on to me through the broker (although i didn't know it was a broker until too late). I had paid for the they do everything package, the movers showed up unaware that this was what was happening (and because of this haphazardly packed my things resulting in wasted space in boxes and thus creating more items, I'm betting that so they could charge more since I actually had gotten rid of a few items that I had originally accounted for) I was also told that they had insurance and through the process of get things signed before the price goes up was not able to read the insurance policy, nor was I told that it would be a good idea to get insurance. Their "insurance" if you can call it that is $0.60 on the pound, not even on the dollar! meaning that my expensive items such as my flat screen tv and dyson cordless vacuum, although damaged and needs to be replaced (valued at a little of $1200) and every other item (things didn't even make it as they were broken along the way or a box CLEARLY marked FRAGILE on all sides) I was told by insurance the check for EVERYTHING would be $63 and change because of weight. Considering the damage to repair or replace cost over 5000. I went in to mediation and got a small "settlement" (not enough but at least something) with the broker. But Insta Movers has claimed that they have not done anything wrong. I wonder how that could possibly be the take that they are taking as THEY are the ones that did all the packing AND moving. My mediator was the one that suggested that I take them to court as he knowing all the information and has talked with the broker and insta movers knows all the details of the case, and says that my case is strong against them. I just dont understand how the party responsible for the actual moving process can claim that they have done nothing wrong. I DID DAMAGE MY OWN THINGS!!! also their insurance CSI is a complete joke and I would assume are fraud as well because they had stop responding except for to tell me months later that since I haven't dont anything for a few month (WAITING FOR THEM TO GET BACK TO ME) would be closed. When i told them that I was waiting for them they completely changed my case manager and only a phone number to contact and no email, considering their hours are only during business hours that will not work. Believe all the 1 star reviews, and dont trust the 5 star. I also ended up with someone else tote that contained, what i would value, over $2K worth of DVDs and CDs with multiple box sets. They wouldn't even take it back when i said it wasn't mine but because the tag on it was "mine" they said it was mine. Horrible experience

Beware. I placed the move order between Tennessee and Georgia with a very nice lady at Brightline who asked me a series of questions and I received a quote. It seemed reasonable. I accepted it and booked it. I especially liked it because I was told it could be delivered in the 2 days I needed, with no hidden fees, and no cost per stair. Later, I found out it was all lies. Fast Forward to moving day. • The movers showed up 30 minutes after the max time they would be there. Putting everything behind. They did call, but still were late. They were nice and helpful, but it wasn’t about their personality. • The movers looked around, verified the inventory, and then said, yep you guessed it, double the price. So a move that started around $3,000 was now almost $8,000. The number of items didn’t change, the size of the materials didn’t change, the amount of space didn't change, just cost more or they couldn’t move us. There were things like bulk item charges, step counts, things like that. The couch was the same size as a normal couch. Regardless, all these hidden fees came out to an extra 4000 on the day of the move. All the things that raised the cost were disclosed before the quote. • I also found out that the movers were a different company called Insta movers. And everything that had been told to me by Brightline was not applicable. I contracted with Brightline. I was told that they didn't control that and we had to pay the movers what they were demanding. This tells me the price and delivery we contracted with meant nothing In addition, things I were told on the phone, changed when movers arrived. Here is just three examples of at least 15. • Moving milk carts, on the phone they told us to wrap them before the move, we did, but when movers showed they said had to be in boxes and charged to box them. They put one item in the boxes and charged us for more boxes. • I was told that when the movers got there I could pay via Venmo or another electronic method. They showed up and said I couldn’t, they did take my credit card info down on paper. Still makes me nervous to think about it. • Items that were on the list already, nothing new, we were told they quoted it wrong and should have charged us more. So the movers did because apparently they were subcontractors and had different rates. Of course, they know we are stuck, things are on the truck and we have no choice but to pay. I file this review to ensure that everyone stays away from Brightline Moving and Insta Movers. Very friendly people and that's how they suck you in, but no trust in their ability to quote and they farm out their movers who then extort people on their stressful moving day. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS!!!! UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! Booked them for a cross country move. Pickup: They immediately tried to add additional fees upon arrival. They said I had 100 extra cubic feet of stuff and that it would be an additional $500. I know that wasn't true because I used UHAUL boxes and each box had the cubic feet on it and if you added it up it was less than the original quote. Additionally, they tried to add a long haul fee. They wanted to charge me $300. The first 75 feet from the door is free and each additional 75 feet is $150. He said he had to charge me because the truck was between 75 and 150 feet from the door. According to his own math, that would be an additional $150, not $300. So he very obviously overcharged and had to take it back after I made him explain it to me. Then movers who loaded my items onto the truck threw the items and broke boxes as a result. I watched boxes break and they had to tape them back up after they broke from them tossing them in the truck. Also, because they said I was over cubic feet they allowed me the privilege of taking my mattress off the truck so I wouldn't receive more charges. Delivery: Thought delivery must be better but I didn't even receive all of my items. I had 86 boxes and only received 80. They managed to take my most expensive item. I have no evidence but I have a feeling that they open the boxes and check for expensive items. This is because a lot of the tape had been messed with and a lot of the boxes looked like they had been opened. Additionally, the mover would not move my boxes in until I paid the full remaining balance. So I did. In cash. And then he would not stay at the end to count the boxes (obviously because he already had the money and I can't lock him in my house). And a few hours after he left I thought he was going to say he found my missing boxes but instead he accused me of failing to pay the full amount. That is absolutely not possible. He made sure that I paid the full amount before he moved my things in. Then he texted me that I was dishonest. It feels to me that the movers arrive and intend to pull additional money out of customers because perhaps that is money they can keep. English Lark and Freddie were great movers overall! They were very fast and English Lark was very professional as well as had great communication throughout the whole process. They estimated that they would get there the day we needed them and they showed up at 11am and were done with a 2 bedroom apartment by 5pm. Damaged items; lost items; ...

used a brokerage company to book my move from Birmingham, AL to Boston MA. They contracted the move with InstaMovers for 11/16/20. I did not receive any communication from the moving company other than an email the Saturday prior to the move with a contract that required a signature. I was not given a phone number or anyway to contact InstaMovers prior to their arrival. I wanted to purchase full coverage insurance and per the email I needed to inform them prior to arrival. I attempted to do this on Sunday, but found that there was no working number listed for the company. On Mon 11/16 I still had not received a confirmation that they were coming and spent almost 2 hours trying to reach someone at the brokerage company as well as the moving company. Around 10:45 AM I received a call from the driver that he would be arriving in 30 minutes. Upon arrival I showed him the items to be moved and he told me I would need 500 cu ft more of truck space than quoted, which I did not understand. He kept telling me this was standard and that I would not have to pay for it, though he was putting the dollar amount on the contract that required my signature. I also asked for full coverage insurance at which time he threw his hands in the air and said this would cost me "thousands of dollars" more. He began yelling at me; asking if I think he is a thief or a cheat and is that why I want more insurance. I calmly tried to explain that I just wanted to insure my personal items for a long move. He yelled over me and would not listen to what I was trying to say. He would not let me speak so i asked to talk to his boss. He then said he did not have to do the job or work for me; said I am a bad person and that he wasn't going to do the job. He got his assistant and left my house, leaving tools and blankets in my home. He was so aggressive that I locked him out of my house and would not let him back in to get his items until he calmed down. He said he was going to call the police bc I "physically assaulted him" though I had not touched him. InstaMovers eventually sent another employee to my home who did the job without incident. I asked him about full coverage insurance as well and he said someone would call me from their office to discuss this. I never heard from anyone despite trying to call several times to be sure that they were applying my request for full coverage insurance. On Fri 11/20, they finally called at 2:00PM and told my items were being loaded on a truck, but they did not have any other information for me, but would call me by the end of the business day. They did not call. 11/23: called again; still unable to get an update. 11/24: received a call from a driver to schedule delivery. Upon delivery nearly every box had damage; furniture packed and wrapped by them was broken/damaged; 4 boxes lost; They refused to respond to my phone calls and emails. no recourse or reimbursement for damaged and lost items Read more

Insta-movers seems to have local franchisees,but neither they,nor the parent company take any responsibility for the complete cluster f*** that is their business. Instamovers was sent to us by American Standard,who is apparently just a broker that takes a bunch of your money then sends you whoever is available. Instamovers showed up with a truck half the size that our move would require. They said it was going to be double the quoted price,and even more if they couldn't fit our 5 bedroom 3700 sq ft house into the 26ft u-haul they brought. Our house was closing the following day and we needed to move immediately,so they basically had us against a wall and extorted the extra thousands from us. Our things were taken in two loads to a warehouse in phoenix. About a week later,HALF of our stuff showed up at our new home. The other half was missing for about 6 weeks (long story about where they alleged it was). What showed up was broken,scratched,dented,just destroyed. When some of the remaining stuff finally materialized,it was also damaged. We're still missing 16 boxes and a variety of other large valuables. Apparently the contract says they'll pay $.60 on the POUND for loss or damage. So if you have a Renoir that weighs 8 lbs you're getting $4.80!!!!! For the aggravation and thousands of dollars of loss and damage,we're essentially getting the middle finger from the. Unless you want an annoying way to lose everything you hold dear,never... EVER... use instamovers. Or American Standard for that matter,as they sent us this guys and they've completely washed their hands of the whole thing. Read more

Worst Movers and Worst Customer ...

I argue everyone who is trying to called them and request a quote..Please do not do it.I have had the worst experience with moving my goods to date. I paid almost 4 grand for moving my goods. They have lost my goods and some of them that were transported were damaged and when I called them to talk about it there this lady called Brianna Lee(I am not who she is ) she is super rude to the customers. Worst moving company I've ever worked ...

This is not only the worst moving company I have ever dealt with but the worst overall company I have worked with. EVERYTHING INSTA-MOVERS TELLS YOU WILL BE A LIE. When I signed up for the service I was told it would be a direct move from 2-3 days. It was not. I was told by the driver when they picked the equipment up it would be 3-4 days. it was not. I was told by customer service that it would be 5-7 days. It was not. It has now been almost 2 weeks and my stuff is still not here. Many of the contracts I was asked to sign did not get presented to me until my stuff was loaded on the truck. At this point it was too late to change moving companies as I had to be out of my apartment by the end of the day. This is one of the most malicious and deceitful companies I have ever worked with. Every conversation you have with this company needs to be recorded, every contract needs to be looked at over by a lawyer,. and every expectation should be the lowest. Another piece of advice for those looking for movers. DO NOT USE A BROKER. In my situation the Broker(All American Relocation Group) just keeps blaming the Mover(Insta-Movers) and the mover keeps blaming the broker. Entire life belongings BEING HELD FOR ...

I moved from Hendersonville TN to OmahaNe, I was not told of final cost until all my things were loaded on the truck. I asked for an explanation and the only thing the mover could say was I had more stuff. He had no idea of this scam which made it stand out even more. I paid them what I was told from Budget Van Lines. Now my entire life is being held for RANSOM. I AM 75 YEARS OLD AND MY ENTIRE LIFE'S BELONGING ON IN THIS TRUCK. Insta Movers estimated my move for 7 hours with $95/hr and it ended up being 5 hours. Great workers who took care of my things and came on time. They called when they left their facility to let me know their exact eta. Would definately use this company again. Read more
