Nightmare Move

LYING SCAMMERS!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I was looking for a company to help with my move. Greg called and quoted me $2400 and could guarantee the low price if I moved on a particular date. He then proceeded to warn me about dealing with brokers. He assured me Primeline Van Lines would be on the moving truck and that his company did the actual move. He also gave me 3 very specific dates I would be called and said the movers would be at my house at 8 am on the move date. All of this gave me confidence and all of this was a lie. I should have known when they made the call 2 days early,did not call the day before and did not show up the morning of the move that I was being scammed. Unfortunately,at this point they already had $2300 dollars from me. And when they did call for my final inventory list,the estimate increased to $4000. That seemed appropriate,but that's not what they charged me in the end. When they finally arrived it was 11 pm,and SHOCKER,it was not Primeline Van Lines. They sent two men in a Penske truck who were from Sala Moving and Storage,and suddenly they want me to Zelle them $2200 in the middle of the night. At no time was I told another company would be performing the move. Now I have paid $4500 and they expect $1500 upon delivery though at their discretion it could be more. Also,when they picked things up they wanted to charge me an extra $150 each for my glass top tables. When I told them not to put them on the truck they just took the glass out of the tables and packed the table frames so they could still charge me $6/cu ft. On top of all of this and despite giving them a detailed and very specific inventory,the following things were left behind- $200 area rug,$800 mattress,vintage dresser,4 boxes,$500 office chair,cornhole boards handcrafted by my father,$400 TV,the glass from my tables,half a lamp (they took the shade and bulb apparently) and my outdoor chairs. Now,today was the agreed upon delivery date. It is almost 6pm and there has been no communication from their end on when I can except to receive my property. I have spoken with a lawyer about my next steps in this saga,but I need you all to know that this company is a scam who banks on those of us who didn't do our research. Shame on me! But please don't use them!

Smooth and easy, and the staff was friendly and made everything easy. Let's face it - moving sucks - if you find people that make it less miserable, you should use them. The movers were great, and the whole experience was as good as it could be. I would recommend Primeline Van Lines to anyone!!

Great communication before and after the move! They were on time, efficient, and professional. The move went smoothly and we were very happy with the service. I have never considered using the same moving company twice...until now. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Primeline Van Lines. I would give them more stars if I could!!!

My entire experience with Primeline Van Lines was fantastic, from the quoting and scheduling through delivery. They went above and beyond during the moving process. They were extremely thoughtful and careful - even removed a door quickly to avoid damaging a large item. Prices are very fair, they were on time, great communication, and they are certainly experts that come prepared with proper equipment. Zero complaints. I will definitely use this company again for future moving needs!

I and my brother needed to escape from the depressing environment, and needed done as soon as possible. Primeline saved us. Edy, Eric, and Greg orchestrated a seamless local move from Burbank to Santa Monica. Their meticulous planning and efficient execution made the transition stress-free. From carefully packing belongings to navigating traffic, their expertise ensured a smooth relocation experience, turning what could be a daunting task into a surprisingly pleasant journey. The cost seemed low due to moving team's swift operation.

Right from the beginning this company was professional by answering my online request very quickly. Good questions were asked about the move and pricing was determined right there. Once the two gentlemen came to the house, they knew how to handle this job, no doubt. The move from a city to another was done the same day. Everything went well because they were very professional. I moved out of my parent’s place. Just moved bed set and some boxes. It was very quick and easy move. No surprises,nothing additional,just tiled the boys for their quick moving help.
