Grossly Dissatisfied

I had a terrible experience with US Expressrelocation AKA Social Moving Group. Everything seemed fine during the time I booked this company until it was time to move. First we agreed on 03/12/16 to 03/13/16 as the move date. I was surprised to get a call from Ben on the morning of Friday 03/11/16 telling me that their driver was soon to arrive at our apartment for the move. There was no one home since that wasn't what we had agreed upon and this was communicated to Ben. Long story short, they almost didn't move our things on the agreed date until I had to call them several times as Ben claimed that their driver couldn't return to NC though it wasn't our fault the driver stopped by on a day earlier than when we agreed on. Ben eventually found a driver to move our stuff on the evening of Sunday 03/13/16. Upon arrival of our stuff on 03/19/16, my husband's laptop had been stolen with some of our moving boxes torn, our clothes and books thrown on the floor among other things. I called Ben to report the situation of our things when they arrived and he revealed that the driver wasn't theirs and they had contracted out our moving. This we never knew about at the time of the move. Ben promised to file a claim regarding this matter. I sent him pictures as proof on 04/03/16 but never heard back from them ever since. This company has left a bitter taste in our mouths when it comes to using movers for a move. My husband and I had more headache dealing with them than we would have should we have done the move ourselves. I DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THIS COMPANY!!! Perfect Move!

Me and my husband were moving from GA to TX to be closer to relatives. We were unsure as to whether we would have to do the move ourselves or hire someone to do it for us, due to our recent retirement placing us in not-so-great financial situation. We decided it wouldn't hurt to check prices at different moving companies to see if it was affordable and compare with others, and Social Moving Group offered the best one and even some free stuff. Although customer service was not always on call and a few times we had to wait for them to call us back, we nonetheless always got a response and the most important thing, that we received our delivery on time and in perfect condition.

Great Job!

I hired Social Moving Group to relocate a couple pieces of furniture from my parent s home to mine. Tom and his crew, who helped with my move were professional, personable, reliable... they did a great job with a great attitude! Couldn't have been more pleased! The crew was careful in handling the furniture and loading it on the truck. Thanks again for all your help!

Real Professionals!

Anthony with his crew arrived 10 minutes before the schedule, they had all necessary tools and packing materials with them, packed and carefully loaded all our belongings and then moved within the allotted time at the designated place, charged the same amount, which was mentioned in the initial quote, solved the odds, managed my kids very nicely, helped us a lot to store everything and fulfilled all of their commitments. In my opinion Social Moving Group are the real professionals, who means nothing but business.

I have never used a moving company before and was extremely nervous to trust someone else with all of my stuff. However Social Moving Group team was wonderful! I received my furniture without scratches or anything like that. I will highly recommend Social Moving Group to anyone!

Good and satisfying moving experience

I don't have a single complaint about this moving company and the job they did on my recent move. Their crew and staff that came to my house was very nice and they were as professional as can be. They did their job and packed everything extremely well, even the things that I did not have ready for the move yet. They went above and beyond to get the job done and I would recommend them to friends and family.
