Great help

The movers from Straight Forward Moving arrived right on time on moving day. They were very experienced. They offered me four movers for the same price other companies would send only three. Having four movers meant the packing was done a lot quicker, and the whole process was completed very fast. They packed everything so well that none of my things suffered any damages on the way. They maintained their schedules perfectly. I can totally rely on these guys.

I hired Straight Forward Moving to conduct the move upon a recommendation from my sister. They were the most professional moving company I have ever come across. They arrived right on time to start packing everything. The movers were very capable carrying everything down 3 sets of stairs. My appointment was in the late afternoon so I was expecting the movers to be tired but they were very charged up. It felt like nothing could dampen the enthusiasm these guys have. They made the delivery in the first half of the expected delivery time frame and all our belongings made it safely. This move couldn’t have been handled any better.

Best Move So Far

I was very happy with Straight Forward Moving. I have moved several times, including a cross-country full service move covered by my employer with one of the big "brand name" movers, but this move with Straight Forward Moving was my best moving experience to date. The guys were efficient, very careful, and super friendly. I have a lot of glass furniture/decorations, and nothing was damaged. I would definitely recommend Straight Forward Moving and will be calling them if we ever need movers again.

I found this moving company online. I experienced no difficulty in obtaining a quote and scheduling the date I preferred, they arrived on time. All my furniture was wrapped with special care taken for an antique piece. Both loading and unloading were handled efficiently. The movers were polite and cooperative. Outstanding moving experience

Straight Forward Moving was excellent right from the 1st enquiry to leaving us happy in our new home. Their sales representative was very responsive and flexible with moving dates and planning and his team of movers was very professional and friendly. They were very efficient and from arriving at our house to leaving us in our new home (including dismantling and reassembling two beds) were very quick. They were very watchful while unpacking. Breakables, such as glass and photo frames, were very well packed in their special packing materials so that it all arrived in one piece. I would definitely recommend Straight Forward Moving to take the hassle out of moving.

Strong and skilled movers

My wife loves old pieces of furniture. They are great to look at but way too heavy when you have to move them. The movers from Straight Forward Moving took great care of them while moving them though. The movers really paid attention to the old pieces and packed them so delicately. They made sure they stacked everything properly inside the van so nothing damages during the journey. They made the delivery right on time. The movers unpacked everything and put them where they belonged. I didn’t see the men complaining even for once. If it wasn’t for these guys, I don’t know what I would have done.

Moving has always been a hassle, but Straight Forward Moving actually made it pretty easy. I got phone calls 48-24 hours before anything was about to happen regarding my move, they were on top of it. And the best thing about them being on top of their game is they kept me updated on everything. It was a very easy and successful process. They handled my move very professionally.

We moved from Norwalk, CT to Miami, FL so easily only because of Straight Forward Moving. These guys were just amazing. They were punctual and responsive. They listened to all our instructions and requests. All our furniture was wrapped in shrinking tapes and other stuffs were packed into boxed. It sometimes seemed like they were using too much packing materials. But it only helped safeguarding our valuables and moreover, it was for free. I received the delivery on time and in great condition. I just don’t know how to properly thank these guys for the amazing job they did.

Nobody likes to move all around the country. But it was necessary for the kind of job that I do. Anyways, I hired Straight Forward Moving because a workmate suggested them as he has used them before. When I called them, the man on the phone seemed very friendly and well informed. He called me back in 10 minutes with a very reasonable estimate. I specifically asked for a crew who is good at handling breakables. The crew arrived 5 minutes early. They were very efficient. Their speed terrified me a little. They were so fast at packing everything that I thought they were not doing the job properly. The crew seemed to know what they were doing and so I didn’t say anything to them. Fortunately, all my breakables were in great condition when they made the delivery. I suppose I should have never doubted their capabilities in the first place. There were so many uncontrollable issues that arose while we moved. First of all, we had to change our moving date two times. Then, on the moving day, the freight elevator in my old building stopped working. We used to live on the 3rd floor and the elevator was vital. The movers from Straight Forward Moving didn’t seem to care much about the broken elevator. They were still polite to me after I changed the moving date twice. They packed up everything and took them down the stairs. Even the big pieces of furniture didn’t cause much trouble. They were supposed to make the delivery four days later. But there was an issue with my contract at the new place. So I asked them if they could delay the delivery by a week. They happily complied. I don’t know how to thank these guys.

I never used any other movers before I used Straight Forward Moving. I knew that the chance of receiving a perfect move is near to zero considering the nature of the move and the volume of the goods. But the movers pulled out a miracle. They came early, took a close look at the situation and began their work in an organized manner. I only have good things to say about Straight Forward Moving. My husband and I hired them for a move from New Jersey to Delaware. Contacting them was super easy and I was able to exchange emails with Peter fairly quickly. Vardy called me the night before the move to confirm, and he called me when he and his crew were on their way to our place the next day. They disclose everything to you about the move, and pricing is quite reasonable. They move fast and they're careful with your belongings. If/when we plan on moving again, we're definitely going to contact these guys.

Beyond Expectations

Straight Forward Moving helped moved me from New Jersey to Colorado two weeks ago. They gave me full and detailed info over the phone and sent me detailed emails and sounded really knowledgeable when I called. The crew was fantastic: professional movers and very nice people. I shopped like heck for a good mover. I searched and searched and was about to give up on finding a mover I could afford. I was considering just selling everything and starting over. But then I spoke to Mike at Straight Forward Moving and he was very pleasant and explained that he could fit my shipment in with another families and that way I could save money. So he set it up and as contracted Josh and the crew came out and did a great job. They packed up my flats-screens for me and everything. Got my delivery on time and they set up my furniture. I had some gigantic machinery to move. Some machines were too heavy and very expensive. So before I appoint a company for the moving I wanted to make sure that the company is really capable of moving such heavy machinery properly. I talked with few companies but they couldn’t convince me. I didn’t see sufficient equipment.
