It sounds like you want to ship an engine from the United States to the Dominican Republic. To find out if you can do that, you will need to contact a customs agent in the DR.
Customs regulations
As each country's custom guidelines and regulations are different, you will want to get in touch with a customs representative located in the Dominican Republic to ensure engines are not prohibited from import.
Unfortunately, we were under the impression that separate car parts (including engines) are prohibited unless they are currently inside a vehicle. This engine cannot be larger than six-cylinders and all luxury cars are prohibited.
