The only problem is they came to work and forgot their tools ... So they used my tools ... [But] they were good. They were friendly and did the job efficiently.

It was terrible

They broke six of my pieces and they want to pay me $138 for it. It was awful. They padded all my stuff but when they unloaded it, six of my pieces were broken, three of which were antiques. They responded--I made my claim and according to their sheet, it was worth $768 based on their $0.60 per pound thing, and they denied all but $138 of it because I couldn't prove when the three antiques were purchased. Well, that's because they were built by my grandparents, they weren't purchased anywhere. They apparently think they don't have value.

Average move

Everything was almost okay but when we arrived to the storage, the guys that were carrying all the stuff started to slow down and make some calls to I don't know where. I was alone and I had to stay downstairs. I didn't like that. Then you are charging us for the hours. So they were slowing down. They took a lot of time making their personal calls and stuff like that. I really didn't like that. Another thing, I said please put the boxes in the front. So whenever I can check the boxes they are available to find, but they put them close to the door. And they left a lot of space in the back. So when I want to put more boxes there wasn't a lot of space and I couldn't move all that stuff to the back. So they left a lot of space in the back of my storage. I didn't like that really. When one person is there to check it, to check everything, it is very difficult to check down to check up but I lost a lot of space in my storage. They left a lot of space in the middle of the storage and they put the boxes close to the door. Now I cannot go into the space because all the boxes are in front, close to the door. I don't know if the company can do that. Is there something for that? Because I need to put more boxes in the storage and I don't have anybody else to help me moving the boxes. I would like all the boxes close to the other things - not leaving any space in the middle. So I am complaining about that because I didn't like that really. I liked the other things their price, how they arrived on time. Everything I liked, but they didn't follow my instructions. The people that came here didn't follow my instructions.

Mixed Review

I used Neighbors Moving & Storage for my recent move and had a mixed experience with them. Their moving services were excellent and the crew was professional, treated my belongings with care and got the move done as quickly as possible, however I was charged an extra 18% traveling fee after the move was over and the company was no cooperative when I spoke to them on the phone. This discouraged me, and I believe their pricing was deceitful.
