Good morning, thanks for visiting Movers.com for help with your moving question.

Even though delays are common in the moving process, it's important to stay in constant contact with your moving company so you can stay informed about your items. Maintaining communication with your moving company will help keep your mind at ease during the move itself.

Delivery times
Delivery times will vary from company to company and from move to move and are determined by a number of things. Some of those factors may include:
  • Other shipments being transported on the truck
  • Distance of the move
  • Time of year
  • Size of your shipment
  • Service dates on your bill of lading

When you receive your cost estimate, you will see a range of dates that are typically referred to as the service dates. The same range of dates will be on your bill of lading.

For many long distance moves the date range could be between 10 to 14 days.

We suggest that you contact the moving company to voice your concerns and to find out what is currently happening with your belongings.

Thank you again for visiting Movers.com, we wish you the best of luck with your move.
