Darrell and his crew did a fantastic job on my move we moved items from Fox storage, another home into my new home they were efficient friendly professional wrapped all of my furniture we're very careful and moving in and out the doorways and down the halls with some extremely heavy furniture. They were on time. It took a lot longer than they anticipated, because the person that came out and did the quote quoted one truck. And it actually needed two trucks, so it extended the time. But the crew was good. Read more

There was one guy I didn't pay for and ...

They sent three guys and I paid for two. So, they sent three guys, and the guy that wasn't getting paid, he offered to not be on the docket. He was the only one that worked. The other two were lazy, incompetent, and the job did not get done in a timely manner. The only good thing about it was the guy was working for free. The other guys were busy playing with my hula-hoops, playing with my horse supplies, and standing around and waiting for instructions. A job that should have taken an hour took over three hours and it didn't even get done. I had to finish it on my own. I think they should reimburse my whole thing. I won't recommend them again. They showed up on time. They had good suggestions. We had just moved the furniture from our downstairs into our garage. Because of a remodel, we weren't moving to an actual another location, but they did a great job making sure we weren't going to use offsite storage. They worked hard. It was good at first, but there were ...

It was good at first but we found a lot of things at the end of the move that they messed up a few piece of furniture, some scratches and they left some pretty bad marks on the floor where they slid some stuff. It went well at first when they loaded us up for the move but once they unloaded it didn't go so well. Read more

Damaged furniture

Immediately filed my claim after fox movers damaged bedroom furniture. After a week, still no response from their claim department. When I call to check the status, staff is very nasty with me. Just horrible customer service. Would never use this company again! Read more

Moving Nightmare

Worst experience we have ever had with any organization of any kind. They showed up did not inventory anything, left clothes and item in drawers - "said no problem", packed items for garage in with master bedroom items. Took items to storage for us. When they delivered it to Chattanooga the guys on the truck said please make sure you have a camera. That some of our items were broken. Some was not the word, they broke so many items it has taken 2 pages to list it for the insurance. Even worse was they lost numerous items also. Not small items but items like half of a king bed, bottom part of desk for son's room, antiques, one of a kind original painting, family pictures, lawn mower, etc. How could they lose items, "poor management". Bo, said he would find our items and have them brought to us. Then stopped answering our calls. They did locate my mower which was not even tagged. But nothing else to date and it has been over 9 days. Even delivered someone else's items to us. Owners of this location should be applaud. Now waiting on insurance to contact us. Was told that Fox Moving should pay for the items. Should pay? They broke and lost them. So now comes the argument of value to replace them. OH! and was told should be cleared up in 30 - 60 days. In mean time - missing two beds to sleep on. Spent over $13,000 for very poor service and communication. Would strongly recommend not using this group. Will most likely end up in court. Cannot even evaluate the company at ...

My appointed time for moving was 3:00 to 5:00 on Saturday, August 1. They said they would call 15 minutes befofe arrival. I waited until nearly 5:00 to call and inquire. They said they would check with driver and call me. After they did not call, at 6:46 and they said they would have driver call me. Driver said he was at Harding Place filling truck with gas. I said then you should be here in about 30 minutes. He sounded as if he agreed. Never arrived. Called driver again. He said his men had been working 12 hours days for weeks and they were tired. He had to drop them off and get 2 more men. I asked where he was and he was in Antioch, opposite direction from me. Then Bill the dispatcher called and asked if I wanted to reschedule for Sunday at 1:00- 1:30 as the second move for the truck. At 1::28, I called as no one had called to say they were enroute.. I got the dispatched who advised the drivers were still having problems delivering first load. They will call me. I asked can they get another truck as Bill advised me you had 18 of them. No, they were all busy??? They will call when my truck can come for his second delivery of the day. I am sorry for the first delivery if they have to pay weekend rate for this length of time.! What is this about getting 1 hour service on their advertisement. Is that just answering the phone? Read more

They never stopped working and were ...

The guys were very professional, they never stopped moving, they packed everything very well - I had no breakage, I had no damage, I had no dings on my furniture. They were not smokers so they did not take any breaks, they worked all day long packing. And they came back the next day, loaded the truck and proceeded to move everything. They broke my antique dining table

They broke my antique Duncan Phyfe cherry dining table-still trying to settle that, I haven't heard from them in a couple weeks so we're still hashing that out. They didn't tell me until after I had already paid either they kinda tricked me into paying. Read more

The moving itself was a good ...

It was okay. They were supposed to come in the afternoon but I think the van got into some accident or something and they ended up coming at only 8:00 in the night. But the moving was good, they did it pretty fast and they were thorough in whatever they did. Read more

I'm pretty happy with it

They were good, I have no complaints at all. They came on time, they moved things very fast, and I'm pretty happy with it. I had already packed everything before they came. They took care of my stuff to make sure they didn't damage anything when they moved my furniture. They made it really fast so I didn't end up paying a lot of money. Good, but I wish they were more careful

It was good they came on time, however it was nice they got things moved very quickly, but they didn't wrap things. My comforter ended up getting dirty and I wish they had been a bit more careful. Read more

They were good but late and there was ...

It was a good experience, they were a little bit late, but that's to be expected. There was a little bit of damage to some of the furniture but not anything major. And they did scratch the steps, there were some really big scratches that I did not notice until we got back to the house. I probably would not use them again. Worst Movers Ever

Spent most of the day with 2 inexperienced movers, that they probably hired off the street. A locally rented van. Many furniture items damaged, some irreplaceable. Sent a new crew late in the day to finish job. Had to pay full charges for both crews and no adjustment for repairs. DO NOT USE THIS Company!!! Read more

VERY unprofessional

The person I talked to on the phone was very nice and professional leading me to believe the movers would be the same. Not the case. The movers were VERY unprofessional, they moved slow - which increased my overall cost, some of my furniture was scratched and they did not seem to understand how to get my furniture out of each room without having a lengthy debate. They may be a little cheaper than some other places I called but I paid much more in the long wrong. I would NOT recommend these movers to anyone. Read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I'm not going to go in to the long boring details. Just don't use this company! The moving team was unprofessional when they arrived and during the loading of the truck. They actually were ridiculing us outside our home. They gave us no confidence our belongings were going to make it. When we unpacked from our move we realized that they damaged everything they moved. In some fashion either by scratching or breaking the item they were able to ruin or damage most of our belongings. When we contacted them for resolution they offered us $500 for over $6000 in damages. Professional service all the way around

It was good. They were quick. They were fast. They took pride in my stuff and that is all I can say for somebody who moved. Price was reasonable. I received all the services that I requested. The blanket wrapping was fine but I didn't use the packing service. I did that myself. The crew was nice. They were professional. They were good. They were on-time. Move deliberately done slowly

They were a little slower than we expected and I think that is pretty much it. They were on time and they did what we asked them to do. I think that was pretty good. I think what they did was good - the price quoted was low but then they took such a long time and they did not give us a flat rate. Then I had asked them before if they would give me a flat rate. They did not, so I think they made up that money anyhow by being slow. I think the future customers should be aware that they would probably be paying the same price for any other mover and they have to have enough time to move their stuff because they are slow. We were lucky that it was an in-town move so we had enough time. I think they should accommodate a flat rate if they can. I think they should let us know upfront that the move will not be done in three to four hours when they say it will be done. They were really awesome. They moved with purpose and got everything done. They didn't do anything slow. They were efficient. All they did was disassemble and reassemble my furniture and move boxes and stuff for me that I already packed. It was really awesome, especially on such short notice. That is why I went with them. I think it all went pretty well and we are happy. They packed everything. It was all a smooth operation. There were no hiccups of any sort. Nothing was damaged. So it was a good experience. Handled my furniture carefully

There were actually two different crews. We moved furniture off of our hardwood floor and had them refinished. Then we moved it back on so we never moved out of the house. One crew came and moved the furniture off the floor. And then the second crew came back in and moved the furniture back on the floor. They were better. They were more careful and took better care of the furniture than the first crew. For what they did I thought the price was high but I had to pay it. Moving experience was positive backed ...

It was a positive experience. The bidding process wasn’t easy. However, their moving staff was prompt on their arrival. And the departure on the day of packing was prompt too. Everything moved pretty quickly from then on. However, our initial contract was with a different moving company, but they unfortunately, at the last minute, raised their price to $850 from their quoted price. So, we had to disengage them and then we selected this company. The move went longer than we expected on the day of the move, but they communicated well in advance. It really didn’t matter that much because the way they did the bid, it was guaranteed not to exceed. So, they were really on time at that point. Read more
