Excellent Service

I needed a moving company to get me from NJ to PA, and Global 1 movers was professional from beginning to end. It was very simple to make a reservation over the phone and they were available for any questions I had about the moving process. They showed up on time and got right to work. The two men who came to move my stuff were quick but careful, making sure the furniture was well protected but still keeping track of time. This was important to me since it was considered a local move and they were paid by the hour. They didn't take breaks or even stop for lunch when i offered it, they preferred to keep working diligently until everything was finished. I was blown away by their professionalism. The only caveat I would add would be that they quoted $950 on the phone, but arrived with a different quote that was closer to the real total, but when I pointed this out they worked hard to meet my expectations. It only cost me about $1250 in the end, which was more than expected but around what this move would cost anyway. Most of the extra cost was simply because they charge for the materials used to protect the furniture, which can add up. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend this company to anyone looking to move.

Searched far and wide for a quality moving company with a decent/fair price. Finally came across Global 1 Movers off of a recommendation from a friend that had used them about a year ago. David and his team were: 1. Up front with the estimate and final cost 2. Quick and timely 3. and Genuinely nice to chat with I see some others have had a negative experience, but maybe it was just the day. I move often for work and will definitely be using Global 1 again. Highly recommended!

Don't Do It To Yourself!!!

Horrible!!! Global 1 will give you a false quote to lock you in and then charge you way more. Their rates go by the amount of items and you will ALWAYS end up with way more items as they break down your furniture into numerous parts (They took the shelves off my book shelf and labeled them as another item). Global 1 will also use several independent moving companies. One to pick up your items, then warehouse them for days, until they contract another company to actually move them. This can take up to TWO WEEKS. A few of my belongings somehow did not make the trip as well, including a bottle of liquor only sold in the caribbean. In a nut shell, the small companies contracted by Global 1actually do decent work. The laborers moved fast and thoroughly wrapped my belongings. But Global 1's sales people suck. When I complained, the owner "Eric"was loud and belligerent. These people are a scam, have sticky fingers, and are unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend them at all.

Quality of good customer service is AAA+++. Thanks Mr Eric for making my move so convenient and flexible . I called several movers and he gave me the best deal and estimated price. Highly recommended.

The day of the move eric and his guys showed up early and wasted no time at all doing a AMAZING job deim beginning to end, If you are looking for a GREAT FAMILY OWNED operated company that truly cares about there customers then i would HIGHLY recommend Global 1 Movers.
