Honest professionals

I hired North Van Lines after a recommendation from my boss. When I called them, they seemed very friendly. I was handed a quote that seemed only reasonable. Their movers arrived right on time to pack up everything. I wasn’t sure how efficient they would be. But they packed up everything very fast with precision. It’s a good thing that they were fast because it saved me a lot of money. They made the delivery on time and nothing was damaged. All the boxes and furniture arrived safely. The final bill didn’t exceed the initial estimate. It was a very happy relocation with a reliable moving company.

My move went great

I can't say enough good things about my experience with them. The office staff was responsive, courteous, sent reminders ahead of time. The movers called me on my cell phone to let me know they were near arriving at the apt. complex. They were friendly, courteous, and efficient. They had all the furniture moved from one building to the next in the retirement complex in two hours flat. Wonderful service. I would recommend them to anyone.

Good job

North sent me an email with a good estimate. I called them and went over my stuff to see how much it would be to move from New York to West Palm Beach FL. The lady that I speak with was very nice and she go over everything. She answered all my questions before I ask them and I was happy with that. My est was good price and I only pay the amount they tell me. They are very good and I will tell everyone I know because this is a honest company

4 days before I was going to get picked up by some mover that my company selected, they rudely called me to tell me that they had another job that was going to replace mine and they would try to refund my company in 7-10 business days. Scared, nervous, and very upset, I reached out to a few companies that were in the area and the most polite person I spoke with was Cheryl. She put my mind at ease and definitely calmed my wife down. On my move day the crew that showed up, represented North Van Lines very well. They worked in sync together and got our stuff on the road quickly. A few days later we were delivered and all of our stuff was in the same condition. We are so thankful and grateful for Cheryl and the crew at north van lines.

Excellent Services

Everyone has their own kind of bitter experiences with movers. I do have as well. North Van Lines were just an exception. According to my wife, they are the idol that other moving companies should follow. Truly, the method and expertise their crews applied in my recent relocation are way better than anyone else. Their modern instruments made it faster. Now I regret why I didn't take them for my previous relocation. Anyway, my relocation from NJ to DC was just perfect only because of North Van Lines.

It was a smooth move

North Vanlines movers were so professional that we were amazed at their efficiency and their skill to get the job done earlier than estimated. In the past decade, we have hired piano moving services at least thrice. But, the level of competence displayed by North Van Lines was extremely high. My wife was convinced that we must hire this company after reading positive reviews on them. After all, those who have sufficient experience were supposed to handle things in an expert manner. The persons, I am not sure about their names, made happy us to the core. I remember this one guy named peter who kept instructing everybody on how to move the piano. While it is normal for us to get tensed during the move, their knowledge gave us the much needed assurance. It was a smooth move! I would wholeheartedly endorse them for anyone and have already recommended the company to one of my friends. Thank you guys!

Amazing job

We moved from Astoria, NY to Atlanta, GA so easily only because of North van lines. These guys were just amazing. They were punctual and responsive. They listened to all our instructions and requests. All our furniture was wrapped in shrinking tapes and other stuffs were packed into boxed. It sometimes seemed like they were using too much packing materials. But it only helped safeguarding our valuables. I received the delivery on time and in great condition. I just dont know how to properly thank these guys for the amazing job they did.

Friendly Service Smooth Move

I've never hired movers before, but I'll never hire anyone else. A move-in that took me two days with a crew of friends two years ago was reduced to just a few hours by Matthew and James, who barely broke a sweat. It was a tricky move, a hundred yards down a narrow, windy, uneven path to the street, and two drop-offs. All smooth, no damage, friendly and prompt service, and under my anticipated budget.

My wife and I recently hired North Van Lines to move us out of two apartments in the Atlantic City to Jersey City. They were as good as advertised. Pleasurable experience from start to ...

It might sound insanely funny but I actually feel like moving again because that’s how simplified the process was with North van lines. They were at ease packing the goods, loading them and bringing them to the new residence. They just carried the job with finesse and I am totally satisfied. If I should give some additional points, I think they deserve it for keeping the job clean and using the right tools. It saved a lot of time and made it easier to remove the equipment that should have taken forever, if not for the tools. The crew were on time and had good situational awareness to not break anything while moving.

My All-Time Mover

My search for the right mover has ended almost six months ago when I managed to find North Van lines among plenty of other companies. And, when I hired them again today for a quick move, they proved that they are the best in the industry. I picked them for a friend of mine and it was so seamless right from the start. As they always do, the quote was provided earlier after analyzing through the items in the venue. The end job was perfect and not so surprisingly, the costs were very close to the proposed quote. It is something budget conscious people will always look for and I am one of them.

Well-Defined and Comprehensive

Our apartment consisted of two bedrooms and we had very limited items at home. I wanted to get the job done with the least expensive. My girlfriend found North Van Lines as her friends suggested it and I guess there is no need to look for another mover, ever again. The crew led by Martin arrived and wanted us to instruct them. They packed and loaded our stuff. The pricing was exactly the same as promised and it was something I am really happy about. Easy relocation

Alex and Joe were the people who guided me throughout the job. I had to go for an interstate move and such services are often considered expensive. But, North Van Lines made it possible in the least possible turnaround time. The service quality, responsiveness were all good too. They meticulously packed all the items which was something not many movers can boast of. Even though, they had to travel hundreds of miles to reach the destination, the goods were in perfect condition. None of them got any sort of damage. The team did a great job and I couldn’t recommend them more.

Just Hire Them!

I am not sure if I remember the name right but it should be Mike. Our entire journey had at least 150 miles because it was an interstate move and the North Van Lines company did it for us. Ours was a two-bedroom residence with plenty of junk items to be packed and transported. They never slowed down or showed signs of frustration. The three guys deserve a special thank you on my behalf. It was easily the best moving experience that I have seen in at least a decade. The packing was simply impeccable. The team was really hard working and dedicated. Five-star rating from me.

Glad I found this company

These guys treated their goods as if it was their own. The last company I hired just dragged goods and damaged some of them. Trust me! Claiming insurance is no easy task which is why it is important to hire a good mover in the first place. I learned the lesson the hard way and found North Van Lines. The moving company’s head called me to ensure everything is going smooth and without any issues. Once the job is done, I got a call from the rep three days later to confirm if my items are intact. I am really impressed with what they had to offer and pricing was definitely on the affordable side.

Really co-operative people

The crew from North Van Lines were really co-operative. I have had experience with at least two different moving companies. There is often a confusion among such crews and they always like to finish the job as quick as possible. It leads to chaos and sometimes goods getting damaged. Such an experience never existed with this company. They were never hasty at all which was something I never expected a moving company would do. The items were neatly packed and the guys took their time to load in the truck. Be it a local move or an inter-state transfer, these people are the best

Amazing client service

The client service offered by North Van Lines satisfied me to the core. It is easy to recommend them to any of my friends or family. They were completely reliable, responsive and punctual. The job was paid on an hourly basis which made it easier for me to stay within my budget. Goods were taken care of and packing was neat. They brought cartons and boxes as I requested. I purchased them from the moving company which made it easy. The crew even took time to properly arrange them in the new address. I am not sure if others would be so attentive to the work they do.

Polite people

The customer service was amazingly polite. I was really happy with the staff. Being so courteous, polite and ready to answer your questions is something every company needs. I had some papers to be readied so as to move the items to another state. North van lines helped me throughout this job. It showed their dedication to customer satisfaction. I even had a situation where storage was required for a week. While they did charge as any company should, it was quite minimal and there were some special discounts because the same movers helped me relocate. Definitely worth the cost and a highly recommended company.

Most trustworthy mover, I ever seen

North Van Lines was our mover, quite professional and seemed they knew their job well. Matthew was very careful of my needs and very helpful. His professionalism made the move easier. I had more stuffs then I initially listed. I was overwhelmed when Matthew handled the situation. The crews were like family members, they took care of every moving item in such a way as if those belonged to them. All crews were cooperative and the entire move went smoothly. When I handed over my items to the mover, I was just released; I had no worry, no headache for any longer. I knew the items were in good hands and I was extremely correct. The result I found when they delivered. Everything was its previous condition, not a single scratch. There was no hidden or secret charge, quite fare rate. Here I must compliment the person whom North Van Lines sent to estimate, His quote was very close to the final rate. I would like to thank them again and hope they will be available if I ever move.

A Well-Rounded Service

Customer service matters a lot for any good company. North Van Lines just nailed it. The people were prompt and responsive. Besides, they didn’t keep running to clarify their doubts from someone else but had good product knowledge. They were professional, prompt and gave me an all-rounded package. It fell within my proposed budget line. About three guys dropped in at my home on time. They started packing and moving goods. The truck arrived and it was loaded. I didn’t have to move a finger except to instruct them at some points. If someone is going to move, I will suggest this company without hesitation.

Amazing Crew

I had to change my moving schedule at the last minute, but that didn’t cause any issue. The crew from North van lines arrived at 5 pm on Sunday as they promised, packed everything securely and came back the next day to load those into the truck and then started to my new house. They were friendly and gracious. On arrival at the new house they quickly unloaded my stuff, assembled the furniture they had dismantled and left everything inside the rooms. Price wise they were noticeably cheaper than the others. We are very happy with the move.

Simply Perfect

I really wanted to write this review so that people could easily know how reliable North vanlines is. I don’t mean to boast too much but it was a fact that they did care about their customers and did a fine job of moving my goods. Me and my spouse tried to get everything ready before the crew arrived. However, there were some items that still needed packing. The guys handled it without complaint and they even stayed extra hours for a nominal fee. The packing was neat. I couldn’t find faults with it. The job was simply perfect and they didn’t miss anything. Everything was delivered as promised.

I love their swiftness…

My house had two rooms and some items in the garage. It should have easily taken at least four hours but these guys got it done in just two hours. Surprising and kind of unbelievable! But, they pulled it off somehow. There were three people in the crew. And, most importantly none of my goods were damaged in the move. Packing materials were supplied by me and they used the ones required to load them. North Van lines showed me great team work and how it makes any task easier than it is. Swift, reliable and most importantly careful with my goods. Couldn’t ask for more.

Easy move

We employed North van lines for our recent move based on their good reputation and also the price was good. I liked their approach from the beginning and I knew my stuff would be in safe hands. The communication with their moving coordinator was prompt and clear and the movers on the day knew how to handle the move with minimum of stress. They were very careful with our belongings, wrapped everything safely and the move caused no damage. Definitely would recommend North van lines, very impressed with the service!

Happy with the service

We have moved from New jersey to Dallas, TX using North van lines. My cousin actually told me about them and gave their number. So, I called for a quote. They gave me an onsite estimate which seemed pretty reasonable. I booked my move with them and assigned for the full service. The moving team showed up time, did the packing and loading with ease and moved everything without any damage and charged exactly what was quoted. But I have a complaint – they were 6 hours late for the drop off and never informed me about the delay. But still I am happy with the overall service.

Easy move

North Van Lines made moving so easy I really couldn’t believe how they managed to pull it off. Moving horror stories are plenty and I have my own share of stories to relate to until I found this company. I guess, this is like the fourth time I am hiring them.I continue to recommend them for any friend of mine because their quote is always the same as the final bill. There are no drastic changes and it works very well. I could plan my budget without hassles. Besides, my items, furniture and other household stuff were never damaged during the move. So safe and done in time.

Good job people

I couldn’t thank North Van lines enough for their out of the box thinking. Moving companies have a fair share of responsibility. They went the extra mile to get the job done on the day. Cartons were not enough but one of the guys went to the local supermarket in my car and brought them.Can say for sure it’s not part of the job description. They saved my time and didn’t hesitate to do things essential for a smooth move. I have already found my moving company for a lifetime. They will help me move anytime and would suggest them to all friends. The cost was bit higher than I expected but it never exceeded the proposed quote.

Simply superb

I kind of came to know about North Van Lines through a friend of mine. It was when I told him about the annoying experience I had with a random moving company, he suggested it to me. At first, I hesitated a bit but once I had the opportunity to experience their punctuality it was the end of my search. After my first short move, I hired them now to help my brother go from Pittsburg to Florida. The move was really long. It should have probably cost a fortune but these people ensured it was kept to the minimal rates. They even helped us claim insurance wherever possible and cut down costs.

Great Deal

I can't give enough praise to Nick and Reegan who helped me move my apartment into a storage unit. Not only were their prices very reasonable compared to some of the other quotes I was given, but they were very fast. Not only did they take extreme care to wrap all of my furniture and electronics in plastic and blankets (including a 1960s Hi Fi), but when they arrived at the storage unit, they were able to re-arrange a large dining room set and boxes that were already in the unit so they could fit everything into one unit. These guys are master jigsaw puzzle solvers - seriously there was not an inch to spare in the storage unit, and their re-arranging saved me from having to pay for another unit. I would easily give more than five stars if I could.

Price was accurate

I hired North Van Lines after giving my number to one of those sites that connects you with movers so they could call and quote me. I've done it before and it’s annoying to have your phone blown up with movers but it really is effective in getting the best price. I got calls from about 4 places before them. Ranging from about $3100-$2400. The average estimate for my furniture weight came to 3,800 lbs. The price range was accurate but I was looking for the best deal possible with a reputable company. Spending a few extra hundred initially was worth it to me instead of having my items held until I paid a hidden cost at the end of my move like last time. A sales rep from North Van Lines called and quoted me for $2600. The price was reasonable considering she dropped a cost for me and agreed to have movers in both states. NJ->NY. A month later the first team got to my house at 1 p.m. on the 17th of Dec and they were nothing but respectful. Lay plastic on the carpet. Carefully disassembled my furniture and loaded it into the large truck. I expected a few scuffs and scratches because I mean it’s bound to happen but if there were I don't notice any. I'm still not done unpacking even though they got to my NY address on the 21st. I really am happy with my decision to move with them and I wanted to give them a little credit where it's due.

Highly recommend this company

I've never had a moving truck before this was my first experience which it was a referral to me from one of my friends who had uses your service, and I must say it will not be my last. I was very pleased with the service the workers was very respectful, very fast moving and making sure all my furniture was well taken care of for moving from CT to IL! I can't believe they deliver anywhere, there's no limitations and the prices were reasonable and worth it!!! So yes I will recommend this company to anyone who wants to move and I will use this company again in the future if I was to move. Thanks again.
