Contract stated that items would be disassembled and reassembled upon delivery and this did not happen. Items were broken and not delivered into apt. My items were disassembled upon arrival to my departure city, however upon delivery to my new address, nothing was reassembled. Several items were left outside on the front and back yard (sofa, loveseat, lawn mower, patio table, and ladder). I was told by the delivery team (two people were sent for a 3 bedroom house move) that they needed to go because they were starting a new job. Upon trying to deliver the sofa into the apartment, the left arm and back were ripped. A tv stand that was moved was completely broken and could not be reassembled. The mattress and boxspring were rubbed against the building and ground and became dirty. The mirror for the bedroom set was broken, along with slates in the bed. Upon unpacking dishes (marked as fragile and securely wrapped), some broken items were discovered. I spoke with a manager regarding this incident and was told that there was nothing he could do. He stated that the movers needed to leave and it would be up to me to deliver the rest of my furniture into my apartment. The manager also indicated that he would offer me a discount on my final price, which I have not seen. I was told that I would receive claim documentation so that my items can be replaced, however, that has not been received to date either. My move occured on 11/25/2013. Read more
