When packing video games for moving, you don't want to use a large box. If you pack as many games as you can fit into a large container, it will be too heavy to lift and could collapse, sending all of your prized video games tumbling onto the floor.
To efficiently pack your games, you should only use small cartons--two-cubic-foot boxes. Start by securely taping the bottom of the box so it remains intact and the games do not fall out. Leave the games inside their original packaging and stack them in rows inside the box, as they would be stacked on a shelf. Then lay a sheet of packing paper over them, and repeat the process until your box is full. Any extra room should be filled with crumpled newspaper or packing peanuts to keep the games stationary so they don't rattle around during transit. Place one last sheet of packing paper over the top, securely tape the box and label it clearly.
