I am so happy with the service I got from England Van Lines. I was overwhelmed with the prospect of moving. England Van Lines put together a plan and quote that worked for my needs and they executed it perfectly. The guys took their time packing my house and did a great job of it. delivery came as expected and they set everything up as I asked. great service from great people.

Super Friendly Movers

My move with England Van Lines went very well. Even better than I could have hoped. They came early on move day and got down to it. They wrapped all my stuff up so not a scratch got on anything. The workers were super friendly and they got done with the move quicker than I expected so I had time to get on the road early and made great time. I would not hesitate to use them again they were terrific.

Definitely Worth It

These guys were really solid they helped out a lot and move pretty quickly. All three guys were very responsive to our requests and eager to help us out. My sales rep Greg was very helpful and patient . We asked them to make two stops first to a storage unit then to our home . I would strongly recommend these guys, the combination of quality, promptness, responsiveness, and hard work to the expense was definitely worth it! We would definitely move again with England Van Lines.

With all the hassles that moving entails and all the stress that accompanies it I can honestly say I was extremely pleased with Acclaimed Movers & Storage. Not only were they extremely careful and quick they were by far the most professional movers I have ever dealt with. I am extremely pleased with my choice and would recommend them to anyone looking to move.

Pleasure Working with England Van Lines

It was a pleasure working with England Van Lines. Right away from the commencing, the professional personality of their movers and official staffs made me feel relaxed working with them. The sales agent confirmed that every needs should be taken care of and They followed up every single issue. It was a parallel experience with all crews who came at my apartment to work. All of their qualities are quite similar. No one could beat the other in professionalism! Everything was packed well and nothing was damaged after delivery. I would certainly enjoy working with them again.

Excellent Moving Service

England Van Lines was everything we had looked for and more in a moving service. The final price was correct and so was the price. We had the gentlemen out to stage the home padding and shrink wrapping for a day. The following day, we had the actual movers out to load the home into the truck and take it to the new address. All was done in a speedy fashion. I will be using them again.

Cheap and Best

My husband and I were beyond impressed with England Van Lines! It was our first time using movers, and from start to finish we felt informed and supported. From the video links on how to pack, to the day-of move, to then helping us assemble our furniture at our destination, our movers helped us every step of the way. To top if off, all of our items were accounted for and arrived in one piece. England Van Lines was also the cheaper option by far. Thank you for making our move so seamless!

Amazing Moving Crew

All I can say about England Van Lines.. uncomplicated, reliable, flexible, skilled, and affordable. All these mentioned qualities were available. I was worried for my guitar and treadmill before moving. The crew at England Van Lines were qualified packers packed my sensitive items so carefully that nothing was damaged throughout the entire ride. I was very impress in their attention to details. All stuffs were delivered on time. The crew of professionals labeled each boxes so accurately that I didn’t have to mess up searching any item . Delivery was within the window and they contacted me prior to delivery to schedule a time. I would definitely use them for my future move and recommend them based on my experience to date.

Great Moving Company

I have used many movers in the past, but after using England Van Lines, I can feel the difference. They knew what they were doing. They came with a moving plan, worked as a unit with a great level of professionalism. They had to deal with my heavy furniture and grand piano, but they did it excellently. Nothing was damaged or broken. They are truly recommended for those who need an easy move.

Damaged furniture during moving

England Van Lines broke my big screen TV, snapped off the legs on the coffee table and broke the glass and mirror in my huctch. I sent in a claim and now they wont even pick up the phone or return my calls to tell me what they plan to do about it. They are a bad moving company. They didn't want to move all my stuff to begin with because it was taking to long to load. I didn't know they had time limits.

Amazing, professional staff. Provided accurate quotes and packed up everything and got moving right on schedule, moreover, delivered to the destination point exactly on time. I would recommend this service to anyone wanting to move.

DO NOT USE ENGLAND VANS

This was the worst moving experience of my life. And I have moved by myself into a four-story walk-up in the middle of DC summer, fell down a flight of stairs and got a mild concussion. England Van lines are dishonest, thieves, and extortionists who straight up lie to get a job, avoid any communication and then break all your stuff anyway. Here is the story of our move with England Van Lines: 5/2016: Rep comes to our home, sees all of our stuff, gives us what he says is "a price, not an estimate because we are a five-star company and that's what we do". Guarantees our pick up date and drop off date within a five day window. 6/20/16: Get call saying they will actually be arriving three days before the agreed upon pick-up date because that's the only time they can come. 6/26/16: Movers arrive. Suddenly decide that it will cost TWICE AS MUCH to move our stuff. Apparently were not informed we'd asked for packing as part of the move. Takes them SIX HOURS to load the van because the did not have enough people for the job. 7/15/16: The day we were "guaranteed" our stuff would arrive. Have not heard from them at all. Call multiple times, send emails. No response. 7/17/16: After calling every five minutes for an hour someone answers the phone!!!! They have no idea when our stuff will be shipped. It is still in the warehouse. They inform us that they have 21 BUSINESS days despite the verbal contract we were given (of five day window) or the actual contract we signed which says nothing about business days. 7/20/16: Still have not heard anything. Call 10 times. Left voicemails. Spoke to someone in sales who promises, promises someone from dispatch will call us back. No call back. 7/23/16: Gave still not heard anything from dispatch despite several calls and voicemails. 7/29/16: After five calls that day get ahold of someone in dispatch. No trucks will be heading north in the next week apparently. I ask what can we do to get out stuff here in the next week. "Oh you could expedite the shipping for $4,000 more dollars". This is clear extortion but we have no choice. You can only sleep on an air mattress of so long. 8/2/16: Truck arrives!!!! They give us about four hours warning, not the promised 24 but at least they come. Unfortunately, it is full of broken things. Our mirror bent into two and shattered, TV stand scratched, dresser drawers off their hinges, etc. By the way, the drivers mentioned they had made several other stops on the way north so clearly there was a truck that was heading our way but they waited until we would pay extra. Moral of the story: we ended up paying nearly three times as much as the initial estimator promised and it took five times as long to come as we were promised. And our stuff was damaged and few things missing at the end of it....Beware.

DO NOT USE ENGLAND VAN LINES. Two of their representatives (Matt and David) came by our house and walked through every room and took down what was going to be moved. Based on their walk through we received a price. Once they left we went over the list and realized that they did not put the refrigerator on their list, so we called them back and asked them to add it.They said it would be no problem and they would not add anything to the price. They kept repeating how good their customer service was and how well they would take care of our furniture. On the day of the move they arrive and do another walkthrough. After going through the house, they point out that the refrigerator is not on the list and that our tables have glass tops and that our nightstands have granite tops. Therefore , they would have to up the price by 25%. We pointed out that they saw the furniture during the walk through and were well aware that we had glass tops, etc. They didn't care. In the end they just left and left us hanging. After calling their company main office they said they couldn't do anything and if we wanted to move we would have to pay the extra money. I said I would not do that, since that is extortion. I have no way of finding another mover on the same day and anybody who has moved knows how many parts have to come together during a successful move. These people will hold you hostage to extort money from you. DO NOT USE THEM!
