BEWARE! COMPANY IS A SCAM AND WILL ...

BEWARE!!! DO NOT USE NATIONAL MOVERS IN NORCROSS, GA.! I AM FILING A COMPLAINT AGAINT NATIONAL MOVERS COMPANY. This is NOT a reputable company and they ruined a bedroom suit that cost over $4000! National Movers drew up a contract that I signed that stated that my furniture delivery would include and I quote from THEIR contract, “Professional Door to Door Service,” “Disassembly and Reassembly of furniture required for safe movement,” as well as “Placement of furniture at new location.” Mover was asked to put furniture in the bedroom on the first floor of the house. The mover stated that he was "by himself and was only putting everything in the garage." This is the 1st violation of the contract. Also, several pieces of the furniture were damaged and broken. The mover stood the nightstands and the dresser on their tops which shattered the granite on two of the nightstands thus making the bedroom suite unusable unless I can match up the granite and get it replaced. This is the 2nd violation of the contract. This was my deceased aunt's furniture and it was not necessary that it was damaged if proper care and if an additional person were there to help the mover unload it. There is no way with the money that there was only ONE person on the truck to unload it. Mover also tried to get me to pay for the blankets that the furniture was wrapped in. We told him no and so he just left the blankets on the furniture. I think he knew he had damaged the furniture and tried to hide it by leaving blankets on and trying to get us to pay for it. National Movers were paid in full. I am requesting that our moving expenses for this transaction be reimbursed and also I am filing a claim for my furniture. The granite will have to be replaced and matched to the only piece the mover didn't break as well as the repairing of several broken pieces! This furniture could have arrived at my home safely had the mover used common sense. This company is not reputable and should close!!

National Movers move me and my family from Greenville SC to Loganville GA They were very helpful and patient in our struggle to move. Roger was very helpful he came in and completed our packing as we were running behind and unable to complete because of family issues. I was surprised as they did not charge a lot considering our mess.

Crooks

BEWARE!!! Very devious, dishonest "owner", Adam, and "secretary" Carol. Damaged or destroyed all wooden furniture, including antiques. Most boxes damaged and contents destroyed. Failed to comply with my request for documents I was forced to sign, under duress, on day of move, violating federal law. Moving personnel "picked up" from street with exception of driver, equipment inoperable, failed to respond to numerous emails and phone calls for insistence to provide documents. Upon arrival at destination only driver was in attendance, he had to recruit 2 men from the other storage spaces to assist in helping him unload. Dropped upright piano in the truck and then dropped it from back of truck onto parking lot!! DESTROYED!! i COULD GO ON, BUT YOU GET THE IDEA. Need to be held accountable for their actions and failure to provide acceptable outcome. Should provide me with refund of moving charges and reimbursement for replacement value of possessions, plus storage charges for damaged items.

BEWARE!! BEWARE! BEWARE!! Beware! If there is only one review you ever pay attention to, please let this be the one. I am genuinely trying to help other consumers to not have to experience what I did. I have never in my life experienced anything like this as a customer. DESPICABLE COMPANY. I will start with my furniture pickup. The time for my moving day was not ever confirmed. The experience was overall good but I did have a few things that I wanted to alert the company about afterwards- more of just a heads up. Mainly that the lead on my project shared with me he had just started that day after applying over the weekend- no background check or anything. I did so via email and had to request a RESPONSE and was treated with defensiveness and was more or less called a liar. I have never been treated this way as a customer in my life. I was completely taken aback; shocked in fact. It all went downhill from there. I was being punished. I was storing my belongings in their warehouse and all of a sudden was told I now owed 60 more per month. I inquired about a copy of my inventory list 3x after my first move and was completely ignored. I became so concerned that everything I owned was in this place- I felt uneasy and that my stuff was unsafe. When I provided a move date for furniture delivery 3 months later, I was never acknowledged and then ghosted for over a month when I would inquire about a plan. Finally I heard something. I honestly thought I would never see my stuff again and was a day away from filing a local police report. When my furniture finally arrived, I had severe damage to all of my bedroom furniture (which was expensive). In fact there wasn’t a piece of furniture that didn’t have some form of damage to it. EVERY single box was either squished, tattered or torn. I had so many broken items, especially dishes and things that couldn’t be replaced. A tv was missing. My bed was missing the hardware so couldn’t be put together. I could go on and on about the damage and every little negative thing that I experienced throughout this move but will stop at this. Moving is stressful enough- this experience was so horrible. I am a very calm person so I can’t imagine how someone who isn’t or deals with anxiety would handle this. Please also know this was an almost 10k move. I am now taking legal action. I don’t care how many other reviews are positive- if this could happen to me, it could happen to you. Please please please spend your money with a national and reputable company with numerous locations so you can deal with more than one person and get response. I requested an owner or general manager contact me several times and I could never get past the dispatcher who again was completely nasty and rude.

TERRIBLE! DO NOT USE!!!

Worst moving company ever. We used them for a cross country move, when we got to CA and were trying to set up when our stuff was going to arrive, Carol, or dispatcher, told us that she did not know when it was going to be delivered and could not provide me with a name and number of the person in charge of it. Once our stuff got here, they tried to charge us an extra $1000 to bring it into the house from the driveway. Almost all of our boxes were broken and we had broken and lost items. When I tried to contact them, they told me there was nothing I could do and that it wasn't worth it for me to open a claim. DO NOT USE!!!
